Aw dang, I won't be able to watch this live, I'm gonna be at the KumoriCon from the 4th-6th...Hopefully my DVR will work this time and record it.
(My DVR has a history of refusing to record things)

But he said himself that he did not want his own show or anything, if not to return back to Sea Shepperd and made the comment that he won't be boarding any ships next time.

I think that next season the Japanese are going to amp it up even further... if you can amp it up from attempted murder.
I think that they're going to try stuff that the Sea Shepherds have never seen.

Conserning Pete Bethune it was hard to watch that show because like.. I didnt really see the Japanese side of it, and I dont know what thier laws are to see if they where right or anything. That issue, I'd like to have both sides of it. Because like he could have violated little laws when he boarded the ship..
I mean maybe he isnt completely innocent in what he did.
But Animal Planet wants people - and the way they film make it seem like the japanese are these horrible people and I have known some people from Japan, they're not horrible animal slaughterers.. They live thier life every day just like we do.
So, I dunno the more I watch Whale Wars the more I'm on the fence with the whole issue.

What I'm saying is I think there is more to this story - this show than meets the eye, and that is what my gut is telling me. I believe in what Sea Shepherd is doing do not get me wrong but - the more and more I look into the situation I think that people need to hear it from both sides.
On the Japanese part of it, Japanese people do not like to be filmed when it comes to what they are doing illegal or not. They're a very close nit people.
The Cove was another example of this, and other shows I've seen on TV too.
But Sea Shepherd wasnt even on tv four years ago and yes I'm aware while it brought awarness to the people it also brought up controversy.
There was a post about how Whale Wars is going to end or something, and honestly, I do not believe that Whale Wars will end as long as Paul Watson is getting paid by animal planet to be on his ship.
Show business is about money-
Maybe they started Whale Wars as a eye opener kind of program but now in its fourth season.. makes me believe that its more about the money than anything else.

If you need proof that the Japaneese only show what concerns them as bad?? Which still prooves that they are doing something wrong, look at the collision from the Shonan with the Ady Gil. That from all sides, prooves that it was on purpose.
I found it ridiculous that the comission said that it was an accident. On the Sea Shepperds video you completely see the Shonan TURN and by turn I don't mean around a corner. I mean TURN towards the ady AT THE LAST SECOND. That collision could have easily been avoided if it was indeed an accident.
The footage the whalers showed was of the Ady Gil collision with the ship with the whaler filming it BLAMING THE ADY CREW that they are the ones who collided with the ship ON PURPOSE, when it was actually the jappaneese who turned their ship torwads them...No one has ever told me otherwise of this because its too obvious.
the comission mentioned that it was an accident so it didn't cause international problems with the japannese.
Sure I think whaling is wrong, but this is not a biased comment. Seen as I saw and analyzed the two versions of the video myself. It doesn't take an expert to know what happened there.

I'm not saying that what happened with the Ady Gil is BS. Alright, God. Thats not even what I was talking about -
Secondly dont attack me when I didnt even mention that - when I was talking.
Thirdly. You dont know what I believe about the Ady Gil incident.
