Gilby's Life ATM ~ Basement Prussia's Survival Log:
So I have spied on my sis going after West's vital regions. Um... that is all I'm going to say... >__>;;
The peeping hole I've used to spy on them as 'Ceiling Prussia' has been deeply filled by West.
Now I'm 'Basement Prussia' because I was found out. West first punished me with England's horrid food in a cauldron. Now he has me on a 'Get Fat Fast' food diet. He says he is going to whip me into shape. o__o;; I think I'm going to be whipped literally. DX / XD I'm as fat as a tick now, and I'm ready for anything. >__<
I'm in desperate need of Bier. So send me some secretly. Save a Prussia. D;

Today: In the RL ~ Studio Ceramics
Today was my first day of Ceramics 4. It's an all day studio class including a lunch break. XD
Class starts at 9AM.
The first half of the day we went on a field trip to a Tile Factory. I carpool/drove 3 people. ;P
It was interesting. Supposed to be a Comparative/Contrast of Manufactured Ceramics vs. Handmade Ceramics. Utilitarian/Unoriginal vs. Artistic-Crafted Ceramics. I was given 3 sample tiles. Sure I'll take random ceramic stuff. XD
Had lunch w/ a friend and listened to her talk about her newest fling with a way older guy. Along with how he made a good first impression but he is rather bore'n average every day. XD Sigh.. that woman...
Intro to the semester. Going to learn a great deal about making glazes. YAY CHEMICALS!!! XD I've had experience with this already, but I'm so happy to concentrate on it / learn more about it during this semester. So I had to make 40 Test Tiles. And then some random thing where we got 3 diff materials + water, roll into a ball, and place onto a tile. D; Holy Crap! One of them had the consistency of goo. I couldn't for the life of me get it to be a proper damn'd ball. D; Though I was able to get goop together eventually. XD Then another woman had the same problem, but with a diff. material.
I got home at 6PM. XD
Oh yeah, tons of articles to read.
I have to brainstorm 3 diff. ideas for a major big sculpture. It has to be personal~ T_o I'm busy pondering that. XD But I wanna make a big GILBIRD. D; Hah!

Gilby's Life ATM ~ Basement Prussia's Plan to Turn the Tables on West:
So I find myself in the freaky, nightmare inducing basement again... Though I'm not alone.
Gilbo broke my fall. ^^; Kira somehow fell through another random hole.. West is gonna spaz again... XD He's pretty good at it.
Um.. I was stuffed in a hole by West cuz he's weird like that. T__T And he wanted me to lick his boot... I know he's into that humiliation stuff... but I'm not gonna lick his boot anytime soon... = __=;; So I got a boot to the head for that.
THO, NOW I'M FREE AGAIN!!! XD SWEET FREEDOM! AND THAT MEANS REVENGE!!! twisted
I just gotta get everybody work'n along with me in on this.... >////>

(Ach, she is gonna be a city OC, Metz, France. Though was taken by Prussia in the Franco-Prussian War. ^^ And given back to France after WWI)

2nd Day: In the RL ~ Studio Ceramics
So Fridays are my big day of work. Expect that!
Anyways we went over various tests we made with chemical ingredients. We are learning the science of glazes.
So we had to choose one and the firing level.
My choice was Cryolite at Δ6 (I had to turn the percentage to 25% of the original stated amount. There are two other ingredients I had to add, EPC a sort of clay base powder and Flint/Silica Powder. Then Measuring out. Had to make 3 different tests with different amounts of ingredients. Then add water, strain twice. Brush it on a tile. There ya go lil Tiles! Make me Happies Bitte. o 3o)
I've used it before in Glaze recipes. It tends to make a bubbling surface that you scrape off to reveal shiny craters. It is a favorite of mine.

Next I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing for my main project. I'm now obsessed with making it Hetalia related. @.@ It'd be fun to make each country personification. Ah sigh... more brainstorming... :/

Oh yah I've to read a special article still that my Prof. emailed. Seems pretty important. XD ~ I've still haven't finished 3 others... D: Sigh... I am only really interested in one of them. The nerdy one about comparing geology to the chemicals/glazing/firing process for ceramics. XD the 2nd is about Managing and Networking through life experiences of some artists. The 3rd was a blah article about an artist and her fugly busts of people from an old yearbook of hers. XP
