So I know that whenever i scrounge up enough money to buy lolita clothes/shoes/w/e i get super excited and want to talk about them until they arrive or vent frustrations when i find they aren't what i expected so i'm creating this thread so that everyone can do that! ^__^

I recently purchased AP's Strawberry Sweet Ribbon Jsk (My dream dress! =D) and i'm sooooo excited! My boyfriend gave me the tenth degree for buying it ($200!) but it is for my birthday so he'll get over it ^_^
i also bought some bodyline bloomers and several BL skirts for cheap and i hope they are in okay condition ^_^ whenever you buy things second hand it is a gamble! but i've had better luck than others i've talked to =)
I also found an awesome offbrand dress at a goodwill for $5! and all i had to do was fix a button, under a pretty blouse it looks very classic lolita. ^_^
i wish i could post pictures! but i have no camera =/
i can't wait to hear about your recent purchases!

as I've said in my introduction I am not a lolita (I am here because I respect lolita and have an interest in it), and I believe that there may be one or two more guild members that are also not lolita, so I think that it would be better if this thread were about all purchases in general that people would like to share and not just clothes/whatever that relates to lolita.

pironaruto as I've said in my introduction I am not a lolita (I am here because I respect lolita and have an interest in it), and I believe that there may be one or two more guild members that are also not lolita, so I think that it would be better if this thread were about all purchases in general that people would like to share and not just clothes/whatever that relates to lolita. hrmmmm like what other purchases? it is a lolita guild...it would be awesome to talk about recent books/music/mangas that are lolita related that you've purchased and recommend to others to buy!! ^__^

D: There's so much the shipping cost nearly out did the cost of the actual items. x_x
Bah! I know what you mean! every time i order things from abroad (especially fabric >_<) i always have to take into account the high shipping costs =/ when the fabric itself is $18/yd and shipping is 20-30 bucks it can be almost as expensive as buying burando! XD
but with all those adorable imported prints *_* you can't resist!

I have made a habit of checking eglcommsales waaay too many times per day just out of boredom and find myself buying things just because they are reasonably priced >.< one of these days my boyfriend is bound to block that site on my laptop while i'm sleeping...

Sooo latetly i have been spending all my time at the university i go to and have been starving to death because i forget to pack a lunch and really don't have anything to pack a lunch in (and i'd like to avoid spending all my money at the Student Union XP) so i have recently been searching for a cute loli-esque bento box/ lunch box... so i haven't found the box yet but i did buy this super cute cutlery set!

I sew alot of my own stuff, but when I get the urge to buy something, its either from eBay or Clothing-Drop (where I recently purchased an adorable Sexpot Revenge purse with a punky Bambi on it ^__^) Clothing-Drop is a wonderous site, located here: Lolita Clothing Dropwhich sells new and used items and is full of cheapness and awesome. It is currently closed for relocation right now, booo, but it should be back open soon!
