This is the village hidden in the whirlpool. It was in very close alliance with Konohagakure, before it was destroyed.
This village is where the Uzumaki clan was originated, and has housed several Kyuubi hosts.

As the Yaoikage's personal ship arrived on the desolate, floating village, he began to think, ''Perhaps this isn't the best place to take him, after all..'' It was quiet. Gloomy. Dead. Not a single human life could be found, only ruins of what used to be the great Uzumaki origin. Naruto frowned slightly, at seeing what had become of his families village, and once the boat landed, he walked onto the floating slab, and stared at the sky. Shane walked off, and began to explore the village, Naruto following him, slowly.
Not much was known of what had happened here, so it was not a guarantee it was entirely safe.

"Naaaruuuuuutooooooooooo..." a voice seems to howl through the woods surrounding the small forest, and the whirlpool in the lake in the center seemed to glow.
All around the two Danshoku nin, there seemed to be voices that had no body... faint whispers that neither could catch, except for a very faint woman's voice.
"Welcome Home."

At hearing his name, he jumped, ''WHAT?!'' He asked, loudly, and Shane simply laughed at him, ''Don't be such a wuss, love. It's just some ghosts or some s**t,'' He said, laughing innerly. Naruto's eyes widened, and he snugged up closely to Shane, in fear of a ghost popping up out of nowhere. However, he did hear something. He didn't know what it was, but the voice in itself made him filled with all sorts of emotions, good and bad. He was mentally stimulated, and far beyond it.

The faint whispers continued, and the water in the lake started to churn and swirl, glowing as it did so until water shot up in a spiral.
"Ow, damnit." a female's voice said, as a red haired woman looked up at the two, "Totally worth it for effect, but even a 'ghost' gets hurt." she rubbed her head, "Damnit, why am I the one left to do this. Kushina totally owes me..." she sighed, muttering to herself, "Damn seal, took them both and now I have to explain everything."
Looking up, she blushed and a hand went to the back of her head, "Uh... Welcome to the ruins of Uzushio, dattebako!"

Naruto smiled, ''..Did you say.. dattebako?!'' He asked, and his expression turned into a bright and happy one. ''My name is Naruto Uzumaki, dattebayo!'' He said, kindly.
Shane simply smiled, ''He's so cute when he acts like that..'' He thought, and pet the boys hair.

"And I'm Megumi Uzumaki dattebako!" she said happily holding up a peace sign, "I'm the last priestess of the Uzumaki clan, and I've been waiting on you to come." she sighed, gesturing to the ruins, "I WOULD have come to get you... but Odin and I have been kinda stuck here since the purging. Kushina was the last Uzumaki to leave."
She smiled at Naruto, "I can't tell you much, your parents asked me to keep some things until you control the seal better... but I can give you a few pointers on how to start. Odin is waiting on you, dattebako."

Naruto raised his eyebrow, ''Who is Odin, grannie?'' He asked, confused. Honestly, as much as you'd think so, Shane didn't know, either. He swore he's heard it from time to time, but couldn't really point his finger on it. ''And.. parents?'' He asked, unaware that he ever had any. Not alive ones, at least..

Megumi stared at them for a moment, before running her hands through her hair, "Damnit... I thought that you knew something at least. Minato left instructions for Sarutobi to get you to come here when you turned sixteen." she sighed, "Look, just come with me. There's a place to train yourself so you can have better control of the kyuubi here."
She turned and started to head towards the whirlpool, "Better hold your breath!" she called back, "Odin's temple is inside the whirlpool!"
She jumped in, "See you on the other side dattebako!" she called as she disappeared under the glowing water.

Naruto's eyes widened, ''Minato...? Isn't that.. the fourth Hokage..? Why mention him..?'' He asked himself, but couldn't ask, as the woman was already gone. He nodded his head, ''Let's go. We can do this,'' He said, and jumped into the water, along with Shane. They began to swim, though they didn't know where they were going.

The whirlpool glowed brighter and suddenly Shane and Naruto went under the water, and for a second it seemed that they would drown the currents were holding onto them so tightly...
But then, it was quiet, and they looked around the moss covered ruins of an old temple.
"Wasn't too scary was it?" Megumi's voice asked, "Welcome to Odin's Temple, dattebako!"
She pointed, "Through there," she said pointing to a doorway leading to a dark room, "If you're going to control Kyuubi, you've got to first face your darkest fears and desires." her eyes saddened for a moment, "Some hosts don't make it out alive... Odin takes care of those who fail..."
She turned to Naruto and grinned, "But I can tell, you don't have a thing to worry about! Just one thing..." she looked at Shane her face turning deadly serious, "He's gotta do this alone."

There was no way he could fail. He knew he wouldn't..

"That's the Uzumaki spirit, dattebako!" she said grinning as she took his hand, "Welp... Have fun!" she pushed him into the dark passageway, and pressed a stone on the edge of it, causing a slab to seal it off.
"Don't worry!" she yelled, "You've got the spirit of your parents to guide you! They never backed down, so neither will you!"
She crossed her arms, and leaned against the wall, "Hey Odin, what do you think so far? Gonna let him take you back with him?" she sighed quietly, "I've been here too long. He's your last chance..."
Inside the dark corridor there was the sound of leaking pipes and a faint growling.
Ahead, footsteps were heard as a shadowy figure came into view, "You think you're so great? You're really gonna protect everyone." the face came into view, blond with red eyes and the whisker marks... Naruto's face only... darker, more evil... "What makes any of them worth protecting huh? You try to save them, but they keep on doing whatever the hell they want."

Naruto's eyes widened, ''What the...'' He thought to himself, and simply retorted, ''Who are you..? And.. to answer your question, I protect them because it's what's right. And I will continue to protect people, regardless of what happens to me. It's what's right, and I know that for a fact,'' He said, with a blank tone.

Without warning the dark Naruto knocked the original to the ground, bending down to his face as he straddled the boy, "Even if they don't want protecting?" he whispered, licking the shell of Naruto's ear, "What are you going to do to save Sasuke? Or Shane... you saw how he almost gave in..."
He smirked, "Or are you having too much fun being ******** to care what happens?"
