Owlwing prodded her kits, they were ready to be apprentices, they just were holding off the ceremony, she felt Soulkit budge, and Oakkit pretending to be asleep. "I know you're both awake." Owlwing said sweetly.

"I didn't mean too, I'm really tired though, Oakkit kept kicking me." Soulkit said honestly, she was the sweeter of the pair, more honest too.

"Did not!" Oakkit lied, rolling his eyes at his sister. She can be so annoying sometimes he thought. He was a trouble maker and less honest, another thing he would have to learn.

"He's lying!" Soulkit said shrilly.

Oakkit pounced on Soulkit. Batting at her face. He felt her strong hind legs digging into his soft, warm, stomach. He got off and looked guiltily at their mother.

"Both of you, go do something outside, you're going to destroy the nursery!" Owlwing scolded.

"But I'm tired." Soulkit complained, she couldn't sleep even after Oakkit stopped kicking.

"You can nap later." Owlwing snapped.

Soulkit trembled, her mother hardly ever snapped. She ran out of the nursery and behind the Leader's den, her secret hinding spot. She trembled, on the verge of wailing, when she saw Oakkit.

Oakkit walked up to his sister, and saw how hurt she was. He padded over to her and nuzzled her. "It's okay, she didn't mean it." He whispered. He would always protect and be there for Soulkit.

Soulkit just nodded.

"Yeah, I'm okay now." Soulkit said purring feebly. I'm lucky I have such good friends she thought happily.

"Yeah, Owlwing snapped at her. She's okay now." Oakkit said. "Would you like to play tag?" He asked, trying to distract them.

Oakkit laughed and waited for his sister to run.

Soulkit ran, fast, she had strong legs, even if she didn't believe in herself. She hid behind the nursery, breathing silently.

"I'm gonna get you!" Oakkit called, running to Ashkit.

Oakkit leaped up, he knew he couldn't reach the branch, but he tapped her paw. "Tag you're it!" He squealed and ran into a bush, lying down, so she wouldn't see him.

"Hey you're going to get into Shadowclan territory!" Oakkit called after her and went to go find his sister.

Soulkit quietly slipped into a large area of willows, no one could see her or smell her now. She crouched, waiting for her brother or Ashkit.

Oakkit looked around the camp and couldn't find his sister. He looked around near the woods and started to worry.

Soulkit, who was not far away heard her. She ran over to the hole. "Ashkit, are you okay?" She called down the hole.

"I'll help you." Soulkit said. She left and grabbed a long, thick, stick. She came back, braced herself and lowered the stick in with her mouth. "Gwab da swick." She said.
