Foxstar lay lazily in her den, licking her paws. Last night she had joined a hunting expidition, it went well, the fresh kill pile was full, it was a good beginning to Greenleaf. "Iceheart!"

Iceheart lifted her head up puasing from the lizard she was eating. Her first response was to snap at the mouse-brain who interupted her, but after she figured it was Foxstar. She figured to keep her mouth shut."Yes?" she asked trying not to sound as annoyed as she felt.

Iceheart finished up her lizard quickly then rose to her paws and padded into Foxstar's den. "Something the matter?" she asked as she sat back down curling her tail over her paws.

"No it's just that everything seems too peaceful, usually there's something wrong about this time of the season. It's just odd. Thoughts?" Foxstar said, concern for her clan coming into her mind. It's about time something went wrong, she thought. She shook herself, trying to get rid of the thought.

Iceheart galnced outside of the den at the camp then shrugged. "I don't know....but why question it? If it means more peace for a while." she answered looking back over at Foxstar.

"We aren't prepared for a lot of thigns. But we make it threw." Iceheart told her then sighed. "But I could always just send a patrol out and all." she suggested.

"Okay, maybe later. That would reassure me." Foxstar said doubtfully. "You deserve some sleep, that was a long patrol last night" she suggested.

Iceheart nodded at first then shrugged at Foxstar's later suggestion. "I feel fine though. If I get too tired I'll take up that offer." she meowed glanced out of Foxstar's den and over the camp. She needed to send out that Dawn patrol.

Cinderheart yawned, and padded out of the warriors den. She still hadn't gotten used to Yewleaf not being here, they would always eat together, like kin always would. She wished that Yewleaf had stayed with her, in camp, now she has no clue where he is. Cinderheart sighed as she padded toward the fresh kill pile. She grabbed a frog for herself, and sat silently down in a shady area.

Silentkit and Oceankit were wrestling in the nursery. They bumped into their mother, Lunarfeather, and woke her. "Now what are you two doing?" she asked with a yawn.
"Nothing! We were just playing," Silentkit said.
"Well play outside of the nursery before you destroy it," Lunarfeather ordered.
"Yes mom," Oceankit said as she nudged her brother outside.
Stormtail padded out of the warriors den. He saw his kits and smiled, then picked out a lizard from the fresh kill pile before taking it to the nursery. He laid it down in front of Lunarfeather and purred. "Good morning," Stormtail said.
"Morning Stormtail," Lunarfeather purred.
Together they ate the lizard. Afterwards, they washed each other before leaving the nursery and watched their kits. Silentkit and Oceankit were still wrestling, but they were careful not to get in anyone's way.

Foxstar saw the kits wrestling. She liked them a lot. She got up and watched them play for a heartbeat or two, then she spoke. "Are you excited to be apprentices?" She asked, knowing the answer.
