Have you ever wondered what it's like on the other side? What the humans call 'Heaven' or 'Hell.' What is it like? Our people used to know of such a place. A place called 'Paradise.'
Our ancestors told us of the place. A place where we could live without being hunted. Without persecution from the humans. But they said the way was hard, the way was testing. But the most heart breaking:

Another journey for Paradise has arisen. Ever since the last wolves entered Paradise, the path to it was lost. Whoever took a wrong turn never returned. Since then, no one remembers the way to Paradise.
Our Paradise...
But a prophecy has come up from a small village. An old medicine woman, the humans call them 'seers.' She spoke to our clan leaders, who brought us her message:
Arise again, the Treasured path will
To lead our people Home.
An unlikely Leader will come to aid.
Prey will lead Predator to the shared Promise Land.
Then and only Then
Serenity and Peace will be
Ours
The clans all banded together and headed on their way at the message. But it wasn't to be. The combined clans squabbled and fought against each other. Soon an all out bloodbath ensued. Many died and the land cried blood, as it is still rumored to do. The survivors scattered to the four winds to the human cities. Waiting.
Waiting for their Leader to take them to
Paradise...

Personality: Shy and sweet, but can get depressed easily.
History: Lenya has been searching and blending in with humans for the longest time, trying to find out more about this Paradise. Ever since birth, her mother spoke to her about Paradise, "Maybe you will find it." And that is exactly what she was going to try. Her family were captured and eaten one night while she slept. And since she is shy, she's never really made any close friends. So, she's been out searching all alone. Not the best choice for a rabbit, she is just small prey in this large and scary world. Scary is how she saw things larger than her ever since she was attacked by a humans pet dog. But she was just trying to eat from their garden, she didn't think that was so bad!

Lenya slowly opened her eyes and was a little shocked to find she had fallen asleep under a bench. At least she was in human form. This was unlike her, but last night she was up late looking for some place she heard humans talking about. She felt it must be a clue to Paradise, since this place had Paradise in it's name. But unfortunately she was unable to remember what the last part of it was called. Even with her excellent hearing, she just had trouble remembering some things even if it was extremely important to her.
She had looked all over the city, not finding one place with Paradise in it's name. She hadn't looked hard enough, but she felt she was getting closer. At least she hoped so.
Stretching as she got up, she let out a small yawn. 'I better keep looking,' she thought to herself. Her stomach let out a loud growl, she was so busy last night she didn't have time to eat. 'I'll look for something on my way. Maybe I'll come across a garden a-...' Then she remembered that was a bad idea. Horrible in fact.
She started her search for the place with Paradise in it's name, going a different direction than the night before. Then something shiny caught her eyes. Lenya could get distracted some times, but not when she was in danger. Her father told her many times when she was young, "If there is danger, try to get away. You're fast for a reason." She went over to what caught her eyes. A small pile of coins. 'Somebody probably dropped them. There aren't any people near, so it's okay if I take it...' She picked all of them up, what a handful of coins. She just wished she knew how to count money. Even with all her time spent blending in with humans, she just couldn't grasp the concept of counting money.
Grrrr, stomach was growling louder. "Maybe I can get some food with this!" She said excitedly and made her way over to a line of nearby shops. Sniffing the air, the first thing she smelled was meat. 'Yuck!' She shook her head a moment and then she saw a bakery, and then the smell came to her. "Oh, I hope they are open!" She quickly made her way to the door to the bakery, not noticing what the place was called yet, hand clenching the coins tightly.

Ranaji worked in her bakery, kneading dough on a floured marble counter. She smiled as she worked, for she worked around her customers. She ran this bakery all by herself and so she had to answer questions from customers, and bake as she did so. She was currently talking to one customer who wanted a cake. He wanted quite an extravagant one which made her feel faint as she kneaded her dough more. Once the customer left, Ranaji began to make the dough into balls and let them bake into cookies. She took this time to wash her hands and take a break.

Lenya went inside the bakery, looking all around the place. 'Everything smells so yummy...But there's a weird smell in here I don't know.' She continued looking around the place, hoping she'd have enough for something. She went up to the counter, and gently rocked back and forth on her heels, waiting to be helped. Then all that she could smell was that weird scent. She wondered what it could be. It wasn't human, and it sure wasn't another rabbit. Not a humans pet either. "H-hello?" She called out quietly, her cheeks turning a slight shade of pink. Then she took a step back, an almost frightened look on her face. 'What if it's some animal...that wants to eat me?' She shook her head, 'No, I don't think they'd do that with people around. They could get...put down or something.' She bit her bottom lip and waited again, trying to shake the frightened look away.

Raanaji had moved into the back to get a cigarette. She lit it when she smelled a scent. An unfamiliar, yet weak scent. A prey item perhaps? She headed out into the main area behind the counter, puffing some smoke to the fan. "Can I help you, miss?" she asked politely, though enjoying her little tobacco stick.

Lenya stopped biting her lip, and jumped slightly when the other female spoke. "Oh, uhm..." She held out her hand with all the coins. "What can I get with these...?" Looking down at the coins, there was at least ten copper coins, four medium silver coins and two large gold coins. "I'm starving." She said quietly, her pink cheeks turning more of a red color. "And what is this place called? Everything smells...fantastic. Once I saw this place, I just had to come..." Her voice seemed to die off at the end of her sentence, she was really shy. She tried to look up at the female, her eyes going back and forth from the coins in her hand and back to the females eyes. 'There is something weird about her, and it's just not her scent.'

Ranaji took the coins and studied them. "Two gold, four silver, and ten copper. I think I can give you a good something." she said, smiling some. There was something about this girl that was off. She shrugged it off, bringing her a plate of her best cheesecake and a few fresh cookies. "This is Paradise's Pastries." she answered when Lenya asked the name.

"This is the place with Paradise in it's name...?" Lenya whispered, an intense feeling came over her. Her eyes seemed to light up as well. Then she looked at the food and her stomach growled more. "I thank you." She handed her the coins. "Are you the owner of this...Paradise?" She sniffed, smelling the food.

"I am. I own it and I am the only worker here." Ranaji replied, sitting in a chair behind the counter. She soon put out her cigarette and relaxed. Her hands were raw from working all day and she needed a good break. She didn't want to work too hard and get blood in a batch of dough.

"Paradise..." Lenya looked at the female, quite a serious look on her face. "What made you put Paradise in the name of this place?" She had to find out, maybe this woman had answers, then Lenya could finally be on her way to Paradise.
She slowly nibbled on some cheesecake, delighted by the taste. Then she nibbled on a cookie. Even better! This was the first time she actually had a fresh cookie. In the past, she tried to steal some right from humans open windows. She didn't understand why they did that to let them cool off, others were sure to try and take them. And Lenya was one of those others. She may be shy, but when she sees chances for freshly baked food, she'll take those chances. But she has never been successful with her attempts.

Ranaji smiled some. "My grandmother told me stories all the time about a place called Paradise. So I put it the name to honor her." she explained. Why was this girl asking so many questions? And what was with the serious look? Ranaji was getting suspicious of this girl. Was she going to look for Paradise? That's impossible! The way to Paradise was lost.

"Oh, I see..." Lenya seemed a little let down, maybe this place didn't have answers. She finished the rest of the cheesecake and looked at the female. "What do you know about Paradise?" She said quietly, pushing some of her hair behind her ear.
