Jane entered the mansion and looked around. Some of her associates in Mississippi had arranged this for her while she was visiting New Orleans. It was quite big, being a mansion and all, so she felt right at home.

Jane sat down on one of the chairs. Maybe I shouldn't have done that... or why shouldn't I? That girl- Venom, Victoria, whatever her name is - she just pisses me off! She thinks she can sweet talk Jedd into changing his mind because of her red hair and her Southern relations! Jane clenched her fists.
A thought popped into little Jane's mind.
Why don't I join forces with Jedd? To make it all the more interesting... She smiled a wicked smile.
"The Elders know what I'm thinking... can you hear me, Elders? Tell our dear friend Jedd to come on over... I'd like to have a little chat with him..."

Jane walked around in circles. It's so simple! Everyone knows I can change sides and betray the Elders oh so quickly, in fact, if anyone, I'd be the first! Jedd certainly knows that too... And that's exactly what's going to happen...
Though she didn't think it, as it might reveal what she was doing to anyone spying on her, Jane was not planning at all to betray the Elders but rather get on Jedd's good side and become his 'accomplice' then capture him. Louis would decide what to do with him after that.... It was just too perfect!

Pandora entered the rather large mansion, looking around. Her footsteps hardly made a sound but she sensed where Jane was in her home. Coming around a corner, she made her appearance as the girl was wandering about, clearly thinking. "You know, Jane...sometimes it's not a good thing to leave a door unlocked, even if you're a vampire." Pandora's long delicate fingers curled into fists as she crossed her arms and leaned against the entry way.

Jane jumped, startled. When she saw Pandora, she relaxed, and bowed out of respect for the Elder. "Forgive me for my earlier lack of self-control. " Jane continued to pace. "Has the Council figured out something yet? I've got a Plan B, if we should need it..."

Pandora nodded, "Yes, they have. Not sure if it's going to work..but Louis plans to have a close friend of his turned into one of us.." She closed her eyes slightly and released a breath, "Though it is not Louis who is turning him. It's Anubis. They're planning to have this young man get close to Jedd...apparently Jedd likes people like him or something or other."

Jane frowned. "That's a little, shall we say, different, but I do hope it'll work. I'll provide my assistance whenever possible." She stopped pacing and sat back into her chair. "Please, have a seat, or do you intend to go back to Louis's home, in which case I shall accompany you?"

Pandora sighed and nodded, "I believe we are going to miss the changing, (which I know I already did)." She moved over towards the seating area and chose to sit on the couch, arm on the left arm rest. "I was born in Rome, ya know. Pandora isn't my real name, it's what I named myself. When I was born, my name was Lydia."
