Who's doing this?
For those who don't know, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month, and it takes place in November. The goal is to write 50,000 words in one month. Then you spend December editing. haha
I know this is a thread about reading, but like someone said in the other writing thread, people who read a lot tend to like writing too.
I plan on doing this come November. I dunno how I'll finish what with everything else I have to do, but I'll find a way.

I'm not sure yet. I've attempted for the past 3 years, but haven't done very well. xp I'm starting college and everybody says it's a big adjustment, so I guess I'll wait and see what my work load is before deciding.

I was going to try to do that. It may not work out, but you know it wouldn't hurt. It'll force me to actually write some of the ideas swimming around my head. They are getting rather annoying bouncing off each other all the time.

I was going to try it, although now that I keep getting commitments added one on top of the other, I don't know if I can manage it. I'd certainly like to make an effort though...

Maybe, come November, we should all attempt it and use this thread to report updates and talk about what we're writing and whatnot. Just an idea. Tossing it out there. November is a little ways away.
Speaking of college, I start classes next Thursday. Um, what!? Summer isn't allowed to be over yet.

That's a good idea! I check out the nano boards sometimes, but it would be fun to have discussions here, too.
And yeah, Summer went way to fast this year. sad

Oh summer, come back! Don't end! I promise to never say anything bad about you again!
I was trying to think of something else to say about NaNoWriMo to keep this post relevant but I couldn't. Oh well.

Hahaha, weird. Me and my husband are eagerly awaiting college. We live in a town where 90% of the population goes home during the summer, and thus there's nothing to do. We've got another month to wait for school.
I'd trade you both classes for endless boredom! Then again, I'm also super excited to go to a school that knows what my degree's supposed to prep me for...
I haven't done well with nano the past few years, but I always try! I'm up for a discussion here.
