There is a long street going through Hogsmeade Village, the shops and taverns and inns all line it on either side. At one end, is the train platform where the students and traveler's arrive, and at the other end, miles down the road lays the path to Hogwarts

~~Anyas~~
Anyas flung her light jacket over her shoulder as she lingered around the train station. Hogmeade was sunny and quiet, maybe a bit too sunny after she had enjoyed one butterbeer too many at the Three Broomsticks. "Now.. where is it?" she said to herself. She was referring to this meeting that the Slytherin boy had mentioned the night before. If she could just find where it was, and listen in, she could go and tell her aunt about it. Maybe then, she would finally be able to sit in on the meetings that had been occuring at her and her relative's houses all summer. They would have to see her as a serious, full grown witch then, and not as a child anymore. "Well, there aren't too many places too chose from," she said and began to walk down the village road, peering into the window fronts for any clues.

~~Lydia~~
Lydia stuffed her hands down deep into her jean's pockets. She was off on her own today, and her eyes roved about the crowds of people conducting their business in the small wizarding village. I wonder if Neil's family ever settled here, or Papa's?" she thought in her head. She knew the village was the only all magical settlement in all of Britain. A pang seeped into her chest as she thought of her dead father. A rock was beneath her foot and she kicked it down the road in front of her.
She stopped outside The Three Broomsticks and peered inside; a nice collection of students were inside. Some of them she knew rather well, others only by face, and others were beneath her to acknowledge. She saw Anyas and grimaced. Goody goodie Gryffindors. Not wanting to be a part of the crowd she opted instead to keep going down the path alone.
