A temple of secrecy and of travel, Hermes has really snuck his temple around. Once Daedalus died, the god went through and found a large patch. With that and the help of his godly powers, the god created his palace. Filled with video games, empty Starbucks coffee cups, and some old CDs playing. It's rather messy, much like the Hermes cabin, filled with screens. Some show the stock market-showing trade-others show sports events-showing his patronage to the athletes. If you really want to speak to the busy god, this'll probably be the place.

Hermes lay on his sofa and continued to tap away tirelessly at his laptop. While part of him was chatting up mortal females and another part was sitting with the newborn Goddess and scowling at a God that had mocked her and another part was stealing this and that etc, he was sitting at work once more. After he'd invented the internet, things got busier and busier until he had to devote a part of him to work day and night to make sure everything in the internet world was ok and up to date. Hermes didn't mind, it was fun to see that his invention was more popular than other Gods inventions. More than Ares's mass destruction weapons and bigger than Demeters tractor or whoever made that, keeping track of other Gods things was really hard these days.
Click click, tap tap. Hermes continued and ignored the Hermes that appeared and walked into the other room.

Hermes sipped on his Starbucks coffee he stole from someone who ordered it but never got the chance to buy it. He chuckled as he looked through his junk and found the book he had been looking for after five minutes of kicking Starbucks cups and chocolate bars. Maybe later he'd clean up a bit... maybe. He usually only cleaned when it was spring, a major excuse for those who came to his palace.
"Don't you ever clean up?"
"Yeah, when I'm Spring Cleaning."
And if that excuse didn't work, there was always 'Hey, it's hard to find time with all the internet things and mobile phones about.' That always kept them quiet, well not always but mostly.

He added a new way to steal into his book (the 589th way) and flicked back a few pages to re-read one that always made him smile when he looked at it. Whenever there was new technology, there were new ways to steal. The security cameras were annoying, as well as those things that beep when you try to cross them with something you took. He had, of course, found away around that. Cameras can't see everywhere and the beeping machines can't tell security that two things have been taken out. You can take two and give back one, but then the guy could check and that would be boring anyway. It's more fun when someone tries something on and then runs out the door to show their friends, while another guy goes out at the same time with something much less noticeable but much more valuable. That technique always made him smile.

Hermes flicked through the book boredly and then stopped on a page at random and pointed blindly. He opened his eyes and looked at the way of stealing he'd chosen, then gave a half scowl as he saw how old and boring it was. Everyday pick-pocketing. It had been more fun in the old days, but now he was more interested in outwitting security cameras and all the other new machines that prevented theives from trying to steal. So far, he was trying to make that annoying sound that only smaller children could hear go away. It made them want to go somewhere else, which was annoying for Hermes because it meant he'd have to find another way to entertain himself and have less work.

Well, pick-pocketing wasn't the end of the world. Hermes wouldn't die of doing something boring... It was still fun when you got someone who'd never done it before. Your nerves went slightly on edge, you wanted him to grab the chain that hung lazily from the mans pocket that was begging to be stolen... You didn't want him to get caught, he would get in trouble if that happened. It put your nerves slightly on edge, it used to be on a massive edge-of-a-cliff edge. It was good that it was sstill a slight edge, but it had gotten more and more boring. Hermes drummed his fingers over the book, then turned a few pages and pointed blindly again.

Oh, he accidently got to the attempt round the noise-that-only-kids-can-hear stealing page and had managed to point his finger at that. Amazingly lucky, some dumber people may say. Hermes smiled as another Hermes came in and swept everything into a huge pile of Starbucks cup and chocolate wrappers etc, then dissapeared somewhere else. The first Hermes looked at the book again and dissapeared himself, dropping the book to the floor again.
The only sound you could hear in the castle was the tap tapping and the click clicking of the last Hermes on his laptop.

Hermes flew in through a window with a blindfolded girl clinging to his back, about the age of 29 or 30. Her jet black hair settled on her back as Hermes landed carefully as if he had just walked through a door and couldn't fly at all. That's what the girl thought anyway. She thought that he was just a rich guy and with a little persuading she'd come home with this complete stranger and with a little more persuading and a bit of Dionysus's wine she'd get to his bedroom...
The Hermes on the computer and on the phone smiled as the other Hermes thought this as did probably all the other Hermes. The God led her into his cleanest Dining Room and took the blind from her gently.

"Woah, um, wow, er.." The girl stammered, looking around at the oak tables, oak chairs, white walls and wooden floor. She ran a fragile, pale hand over an oak wardobe stuffed with old piles of sheets.
"Yeah, it's pretty expensive but I'll always get the best of everything." he admitted.
"What was your job again?" she asked, looking at the oak door and up at the stylish windows.
"Oh, I don't really have one. All this money was passed to me by my father when he died." The God lied convincingly.
"Oh, I'm very sorry." she moved towards him and then stopped uncertainly, but he moved forwards and whispered in her ear, moving her towards his bedroom.

No wine needed, she went up easily. The spider caught the fly without using the poison and for the rest of the night everyone was feeling happy. Or every Hermes and the girl anyway. She got sent home around midnight, carried on Hermes back. He lay her in her bed and put the duvet over her and pulled out a list, writing her name and address because he was pretty sure that the girl was now pregnant and he'd need to make sure that he could protect her as much as possible so that his son or daughter was safe until they got to Camp Half Blood or whatever they called it these days. Hermes wrote a note and put it on her table.
'Take a pregnancy test, if pregnant please call me on the no. I left you'
