We had to ban a character, for being unoriginal.

The character was a carbon copy of a character from a cartoon series, and I did not catch the fact until it was brought to my attention, because I do not watch the series.

We hate having to do things like this, but this rule is clearly visible, important, and we will enforce it.

I bring this up so that the people who play with this individual will understand the crew's position. We are sorry for any inconvenience or role-playing issue this may cause, but we cannot allow players to break the rules that make Crosshaven what it is.

Let me reiterate: Characters must be 100% original, of your own design. That doesnn't mean you can't draw inspiration and ideas from other sources, but do not create a character that is closely resemblant or has too many things in common with a popular fictional character. Anyone who is not playing an original character, that I haven't caught yet, you must revise and resubmit your characers.
