Welcome to Diamond Hill School where beings of all races come together to learn the magic of their cultures. For seven-hundred years we have instructed students of elven, human, vampiric, and mend other races in the use of their varying abilities. We hope you find our institution exemplary.

☾I'd like a wide variety of role players and characters, but try to be at least semi-literate. I don't want ANY one-liners.☽
☾Pretty Posts make the role play more entertaining to the eye so try to spice up your posts a little bit if you can. Though I do understand they can be a pain to make so they aren't required. I would like at least your character picture in every post, please. ☽

Dorms are appointed as thus:
The north tower is home to the boys, it has seven floors. first years to seventh years from bottom to top.
The girls reside in the west central tower (clock tower) are a ranked in the same way first to seventh from top to bottom.
The school has only 90 boys and 90 girls so each person has his or her own room. the boys and girls common rooms are situated on the floors below first year girls dorms and first year boys dorms.

INFO: I hail from the royal family of the elven city of Don-Maradai. My father, the king, has seen it fit to place me in this private institution so i may learn the final two years of Elven magic. I am quiet and tend to keep mostly to my self. My mastery of Ice Magic is Reasonably good, but i detest using it for simple situations. ########################## Name: Yami Senken Age: 16 Race: Shadow Rider Type: Assassin Class: Lower Info: Born in the streets before being taken in by a royal family. His adoptive family was slaughtered right before his eyes, he would have been murdered as well If it weren't for a mysterious being who granted him the ability to wield the darkness at will. Forced to live his life on the streets, Yami was forced to become an assassin for hire. In an attempt to redeem himself, he has come to this school, hoping to learn to use his powers for good. ###########################################Sasha Ganma  AGE:17 RACE: Human TYPE: Gamma mutant CLASS: Middle INFO: His father was a Gamma researcher. One day he chose to sneak onto his father's car and go to the lab with him. There was an explosion and his father died. His mother had died when he was young. He wasn't in the lab so he hadn't died like the rest. He was transformed into a gamma creature and would only turn back once a week. Over time he learned to control his power and has gained the ability to use the gamma creature's abilities without changing his physical appearance. His abilities are only half of what they would be if he completely turned. Unlike most others, I'm reluctant to start studying here because firstly, I only have the physical abilities of a normal human unlike most students there -I have a smaller frame then most people my age- and secondly because the demons I communicate with often scramble my memories due to which I forget very important things i.e. my name or the face of the person I just met. That is why I carry around an art pad to write and draw things in.

L'shaya Tyailsidrin I looked up at it. The school i will be attending for the next two years at my father's orders. Distantly it reminded me of a perfectly cut jewel, shining in the sweet light of morning. It gave off a blue white glow, similar to that of a new diamond. No wonder it was called Diamond Hill. My mood darkened more. By all means i had to attend school here but my father had not the mercy to spare my feelings...my mother having died only months ago.
Pulling my crimson cloak closer about my shoulders to stave of a chill morning breeze, and hefting my travel case i moved up to the huge double front doors, which was even now themed with students of all ages and races. i blended into the crowd as the wind picked up bringing a smell of winter on its messaging waves. This winter would be one long season.

Yami Senken "Pain is but a state of mind,"  I guess this isn't so bad, I thought solemnly, it'll take some getting used to, but I'll adjust. I walk towards the school and suddenly drop to my knees, feeling this intense energy all around me, what is this? I look around but see nothing that could possibly be this powerful. It suddenly disappears, I stand up, still in a state of shock, and continue walking to the school."Don't think about it and nothing will ever hurt you."

As I enter the school premises, I know that my hard days will start, again, for I don't know how to interact to other, i am always alone, and random things usually came out of my mind whenever i meet others. "I hope I can do this right" and As I walk in the corridor, I can feel the intense power that was surrounding the school.

Yami Senken "Pain is but a state of mind," I enter the school and look around in astonishment," I didn't know anything could be this glorious." I say while admiring the crystal furniture and walls. Snapping out of my "trance", I walk towards a door marked office. I enter and notice a thin receptionist, about 30 years of age." Can I get my schedule?". I ask shyly." Yeah sure, just give me a sec." she says with an accent that I can't quite name. She's shuffling through some files when I notice a pair of horns barely poking out through her golden-blonde hair. She hands me a file marked " Yami Senken" in bold letters." Thank you." I say with a fake smile. I walk out of the office and look at the map on the back of my schedule," Dorms thataway." I say looking down a long corridor."Don't think about it and nothing will ever hurt you." ((ooc: do we get dorms assigned to us or how does this work?))

L'shaya Tyailsidrin The caretaker of Diamond Hill met me at the foot of the Diamond staircase and took my bags.
"Prince L'shaya, the Headmaster greets you but couldn't be here to see you settled in. He sends his apologies." he said in his rough voice.
"Its fine," i replied softly, feeling relief at not having to exchange pleasantries with the fussy head of school.
"Your room is at the top of the north tower."
i nodded once, following him. in the near distance i could sense the power of something very strong.
