There have been some questioning among fans as to what color Raistlin's eyes were before the Test. I want to state that they are pale blue, because that is what it says in the very first book "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" in the second chapter. Tanis looks at Raistlin for the first time after the Test, and it says that his eyes used to be pale blue.

So... why are people commonly misinformed? It was argued that he had brown eyes in Legends, but I always assumed that it was because Fistandantilus had brown eyes; it was after Raistlin "became" him.
But there are artists (Clyde Caldwell on the cover of "The Companions") that have given him brown eyes and authors that have said he had brown eyes. (Tina Daniell in "Dark Heart". Although she did say in "The Companions" later that he had blue ones.) I know Caramon has them, and they are twins, but Raistlin and Caramon are fraternal twins, not identical.
Anyway, I would just like to clear it up, because there are a few people I have been arguing about it with, and I have read and researched thoroughly about Raistlin not to know better.
