This book is a little confusing. It starts out in present time and jumps around, telling different stories from Rose's history. In present time Rose is a widow, and unbeknownst to her husband she has been having an affair since before their marriage even began.

Genre: Drama/Romance

I don't really have a favorite character, but Rose is the protagonist, and definitely the most interesting. Even though she cheats on her husband, you can't really dislike her. Her husband is too unlikeable, so I was almost happy that she found someone else.

Question: Is cheating always wrong?

I have not heard of this book before but the question that you asked was quite interesting.

I do think that cheating is always wrong because consequences will always be paid for them. Yes there can be a good and maybe even justifiable reason for cheating, but that does not change the fact that cheating is not a good thing.

How did you hear about this book? Was it a random pick, gift from someone, or maybe a school read?
