Persona 4's battle system was great. In terms of battles, I'd keep that. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring back negotiations, for the love of Christ... I think the idea of branching storylines would be cool, though, and something like Persona 2's rumor system would be fun.

Persona 3 Portable's choice of sex in the beginning and skip the rescue list thingy. >.< it screwed up my old thing which was new moon train till everyone's tired, rest untill full and up status at the same time. The rescue cause me to leave that and save people's lives and if you for get the floors your screwed beyond all reason.
O and I'm with Coopernius keep 4's battle system, it helps out alot. Lastly I want Nekomata back. I was angry when she was removed from 4, but i got over it by using Lillium and Angel razz

the gender split from P3P and the battle system from P4...and maybe just for the yuri and yaoi fans out there where the boys can date boys and girls date girls would be nice for a new game + whee

I agree that I would like to see several things rebooted from Persona 2 such as the rumor system, a branching storyline, and possible homosexual relationships (forever love Jun!)

Is Persona 5 a sequel to Persona 4?
I kind of want Minato from P3 to come back as maybe a boss.... Or something. o.o
