Most would call our love for animated movies directed at children, well, childish. We would like to think of it as a love for messages that we can cherish throughout our lives. Of course, is it so wrong to hold onto the last piece of childhood that we can salvage? The creators of the wonderful films might have kept the children in mind while producing, but we can all find something to take from the main message. Whether it’s that following your dreams without doubt will never leave you empty handed, or that if you don’t try you will never learn. But who ever said remembering the most blissful time of your life was a bad thing? For no matter how old and how wise I will grow in the years to come, forever in Neverland my soul will be.

My mom always had us watch mulan and never those princess-y movies, because she thought it showed my sister and me that girls can do anything boys can, and in snow white a sleeping beauty, the girls are always like "eeeee, save me!"

Makes three!
Still there is a great line from Winnie-the-Pooh...
"and there a bear will always be waiting..."

that bear to me,
is the part of childhood we keep with us.
always wink
