Attention Students...
Today the Monthly Collectibles for the month of August came out today. They are definitely based off of older designs of Monthly Collectibles.
I like the thought put into these items. They both only have 4 poses. I like this because I hated the MCs that had dozens of poses. Such pain! Anyway, I have very high hopes for the Nitemare Crown. I think that it's Black and Red tones will become a must-have for every black and red avatar. This will lead for more elegant B&R avatars.
The Solar Sash, obviously the "rival item" for the Lunar Sash, is a very good sounding item. The designs falls slightly flat though. The design was more based off of making the sash billow and fold beautifully. I wish that the design had just the same billows but also had a better design. The pattern on the sash is just white with little gold suns. Overall, a good item that could have been better.
This month's MCs were good because of a few things that I think make a good item. Few poses is one thing. The other is that the MCs aren't obscure like Harbinger of Pestilence, Bacchus, and so many other MCs. Lastly, they give you a throwback to previous MCs that were Gaia classics. I'm very tempted to go and buy these MCs. I was not inclined to do so last month.
