California. I have lived in so many places throughout the state. I think I liked living in N.California best.

California is pretty cool, too. I lived there for a few months and was born there. I was born in Fort Orde, California- an old military base that burned to the ground somewhere between 1992 and 1994.
I've been to Salinas and a few other places. I remember going to Dennis the Menace park as a kid.. wanting to go to Sea World, Disneyland, Six Flags, and the Monterrey Bay aquarium. All those places seem so cool..

Oh wow, am I the only who voted or voted first...? redface
I have to admit, though I've lived here in CA all my life and do like parts of it, time here has made me want to get out and go someplace new. I'm fed up some things in "Cali". Thoughts of change feel good. razz

I used to go stay out there near Ventura, or around the L.A. area, I really loved it out there its sooooooooooo much better than Indiana lol. Heck, can anybody name anything Indiana has to offer off the top of their heads? Yep, me neither! lol. So I'm hoping to move back out there hopefully soon, so if anyone on here would like to make a new friend, or be a tour guide, or recommend any places to go/see let me know XD

I <3 CA! I've lived in a few other states (military brat, heh), and they just don't compare. Not only that, but people can tell I'm from Cali from ten miles away when I go out of state.

Lol thats pretty cool, so how can people tell your from California when you go out of state? Things I liked about California was they seemed more friendly, there was more people into anime, and they were easy to get along with, make friends, hangout, etc. in other states I've been in people seem a bit more flakey. California I really miss lol I'm looking forward to being back out there lol.

I eventually ended up in Seattle because it reminded me of SF, but it's got an even MORE impressive gamer culture (The fact that Microsoft, Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast, Valve, etc. all live here certainly helps). And I can afford it, which I sadly can't say of CA sweatdrop

For me, in Southern California, it was around 1,000 bucks a month for a small 1 bedroom appartment. I also liked how they had Anime Expo, E3, and Comic Con there thats pretty neat along with all those attractions. Here in Indiana currently we have nothing, no cons, concerts, theme parks, tourists, nothing but 7 months of snow, horrible weather and terrible crime/gangs. (Due to being between Chicago and Detroit lol) however its incredibly cheap to live here, as nobody wants to lol.

Currently we pay just under 1k/mo for a two bedroom, which is much better than the situation in CA that forced us to split a place with roommates in college (none of which turned out to be trustworthy...) Here in Seattle we also have Northwest ComiCon, SakuraCon and Pax Prime, so I've got plenty to keep my budget frightened without having to invest it all in rent!

Yeah I know what thats like, its why I'm back in Indiana is because of a falling out. It seems to some friends that alcohol and weed is more important than food or bills. So I want to move back out to California, tho I'm hoping a 1 bedroom appartment isn't like too crazy expensive as the people in/from California are far nicer than here. Like while out there people were openly nerdy, they made new friends easier, and would talk to people like they've known them for a long time. Here in Indiana you never talk to other people, nobody is nerdy, its just tons of crime. I'm also getting tired of traveling 5-7 hours out of state for cons and concerts. I end up paying hundreds more than I should just to go to a con out here because of gas, tolls, and hotel because no cons come near us lol.
