A book written by Harper Lee transformed into a very accurate movie. I loved the book, and felt that, if you had to read it for school, you could just as easily get off with just seeing the movie. The literature in the book is priceless though, so I would suggest that you read the book anyway.
Do you feel that the movie accurately portrayed the book? What was your favorite part?

I feel like the book was accurately portrayed in the movie.
My favorite part in the movie was when Jem rolled Scout down the hill in the old tire. That was pretty cute/funny.

It was! I liked the part when they started getting along with Boo Radley, I thought that was really nice. I also enjoyed the sequence in court with Atticus and the poor black man he was representing.

True. I liked that part too. It was really weird how Boo Radley just stepped out from behind the door at the end. whee

Yeah... He was odd, but very helpful. Especially when Scout and Jem were attacked...

Definitely! They were very lucky to have him then!
The girl who played Scout was adorable. She was pretty much how I imagined Scout while reading the book.

Yeah, the actors that they picked for all of the parts were brilliant. Gregory Peck was absolutely brilliant.

I think to kill a mocking bird was very well done from the book to the movie, I have read and watched both together I thought they were well done.

music_goggles I feel like the book was accurately portrayed in the movie. My favorite part in the movie was when Jem rolled Scout down the hill in the old tire. That was pretty cute/funny. That is one of my favorite parts as well. The book truely was portrayed accurately in the movie. I saw the movie in 6th grade and read the book that summer. It took be until 9th grade when I reread the book to appreciate it though.
