Do only crew votes count in the contest? Cause my comic was getting the most votes in the actual thread... or so I thought.

No the way the judging works is the person with the most votes wins first place as long as theirs followed all the rules. (Yours followed all the rules so if yours has the most votes by tomorrow tonight then you win first place. Emo's is second place but she didn't really follow all the rules so if she gets tied with you or gets in first place, she'll get second place anyway.)
The voting in this thread is subcategories. So if you win the votes of the members & get first place, you get 150k and a mini-comic and avatar art. So far you are winning two out of 3 of the subcategories so you'll get an extra 10k.
If some of the other crew picks you as their personal fav choice, then you get an extra 5k per.

So far you are guaranteed 10k because you are winning in most interesting art style and most liked moment.

Also none of the new crew votes counts in this thread because all the crew-judges were decided before the contest started. >A>; Sorry.
