Anyas entered the library with her knapsack over her shoulder, biting her lip under the strain of the weight. She was pretty sure that the teachers of Hogwarts spent their summers solely making up homework assignments for the year. Yes that could only explain the many projects she had for this first weekend. And it was so sunny out too. "Ah well, nothing to do it but to do it," she muttered under her breath and found a spot at a table, spread out her things and began to work.

 [------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------] Lily sighed as she walked into the library. She looked around and saw someone she knew. Anyas. Lily put on a smile and walked over to her. "How are you, Anyas?" she asked.

Anyas smiled and looked up at her fellow Gryffindor, "Hello Lily, I'm doing great except for all these assignments, how about you?" she asked. Anyas gathered up her bag and scooted over, clearing her belongings from the space beside her so Lily would have a place to sit down. She dropped her voice to a whisper so the grouchy old librarian wouldn't over heat them. "So how was your summer holiday?"

~LILY EVANS~Lily smiled and sat. "My summer was okay," she told Anyas when the librarian passed. "Nothing exciting happened, since my family is Muggle. I just can't wait to get my own place. It will be much better than living with them. I will still visit them, though," she added. "What about your summer?"

Anyas eyes stayed on the librarian until she had turned the corner down a different aisle of books. "I always wondered what it would be like to live with a Muggle family for even a day. However do they get along without magic?" she asked, her lower lip pushed out in amused thought. Maybe she would try it after she left Hogwarts. "My summer was rather.. boring but interesting. Mum and Dad were off traveling to other countries so I stayed with Aunt Minerva this summer. It was.. interesting. I've never seen her host so many people at once," the girl answered, debating in her head on just how indepth she should go about all the things she overhead and saw. Anyas did always feel that Lily was a trustworthy girl.

~LILY EVANS~Lily smiled. "It is kind of odd for me to live with Muggles, but I think you would find it intresting to live with them," she said. Lily stood. "I really got to get this book. See you later," she said, walking away to the bookshelves.

"Hmm.. well I'll have to find out for myself someday. Take care, Lily," she responded with a smile and a wave as the girl retreated. Anyas turned her attention back to her parchment and books, quill in hand and vigorously writing out the first essay of the term about dragons.

Hailey *Hailey walks into the library,then found a seat next to Anyas, since the girl in the common room was bugging her.again she pulled out the Dragon book*

Anyas barely stirred when the seat beside her was occuppied again. She looked up, thinking she might see Lily, but instead saw a Slytherin girl she wasn't familiar with. Gathering up her spread of books and parchment she made a bit more room for the girl after acknowledging her with the slightest of nods and continued on her essay.

Anyas blinked and looked up, then down at the book the girl was holding out. It certainly didn't look like any of the textbooks she had used thoroughout the years. She smiled politely and took the book from her outstretched hand. "Thank you very much. I'll be really quick, so you won't have to wait long Miss..." at this her voice trailed off, so the younger girl could introduce herself if she would like. Her neighbor appeared to be much younger than a sixth year like herself.

Slytherin! Anyas chuckled to herself, it seemed she was making quite a few acquintances in Slytherin this term. She couldn't help but wonder why her aunt was always wary of that house now. "Well, I'm Anyas McGonagall, from Gryffindor. Pleasure to meet ya," Anyas said warmly and fell silent as the girl began to read. She didn't want to be rude afterall. For a few more moments she skimmed through the book and wrote down notes into a seperate journal, noting the different characteristics, taming, and venoms of certain dragon breeds and their natural habitats.
