Into the short tunnel entrance behind the Fat Lady's portrait trooped Anyas, along with her horde of fellow Gryffindors. The common room was exactly as she remembered, which was no surprise. Many of the students lingered here, still talking excitedly. She did the same, despite being full from her dinner, the evening was still young and she wasn't quite ready for bed yet. Plus, there was still the weekend to look forward too, before term began. That didn't happen often and she was happy for it. Perhaps that meant they would let the older students into Hogsmeade.. she scurried over to the announcements case to see. What luck! They would be.
She made up her mind then, to at least say try to sleep so she could leave early in the morning. "Good night everyone," she said politely to her classmates and headed for the dorms. Tomorrow, she would finish searching out the rest of her friends.
