I wouldn't label this rape or sexual assualt. Really i have no idea what to call it but, here's what happened.
When i was In the 4th grade, a boy in my class would touch me, inappropriately. There were only 2 girls in our class, me and my best friend. He told me if I ever told, he would either, a) beat me up or b) tell them i touched him. So i never did tell even though i new i should have.
It started off innocent, like he would hug me, but his hands would move down to my butt. Then it got a little less innocent, we where on the monkey bars and i was upside down. My shirt was falling and i went to pull it up but he said "Let it fall baby" and yet i still didn't tell. At P.e. class later that day, he told this girl, i didn't know her by the way, to pull my shirt up and show my breast. she did, then she pinned me down so i couldn't see anything and so i couldn't stop her. "Where was the teacher?" Is what your thinking. Well, He was inside....Getting dodge balls. The whole 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders saw my breast. Finally i had enough, I ran to the slide to hide and cry but, he came behind me, grabbed my chest and humped my backside, pushed us down the slide together so that my butt was on top his "area". I went to tell and he said if i did he would a) beat me up or b) tell them i touched him. So, i waited until the end of the day to tell my teacher, i told him i was going to tell butt he wouldn't stop. at the end of the day he whispered my name and told me to look at him. BAD IDEA. He had his p***s out of his pants and was "wiggling" it around. I got up and told the teacher everything he did, he told the principle and I told my mother. He was suspended for the rest of the school year. Later, Did i find out that he was also touching my best friend. Sicko.

I would label that as 'sexual harassment'. Especially since these are school children we are talking about.
Either way, it's always a scary thought as a child for someone to either see your private parts, or for someone else to show you their private parts.
Sexual Harassment usually covers inappropriate language towards someone unwilling, touching someone in their private areas, and exposing their private areas to someone unwilling.
As for telling a teacher...
I think you told them when you could. It's better you told them then than any later.

Yes, it is sexual harassment, as Raawiya said. It's a good thing you told. Even if it was some time after it started, you did say something.

it was sexual harassment, and it was truly horrible what he did and he deserved to be suspended for the rest of the school year, and its a good thing you told your teacher what happened

yea thats totally sexual harrasment and he deserved to be suspended and he should be put in juvi, that sicko...
