Cody sat cross legged on the ground, sipping on a cup of tea, waiting for his opponent to arrive.

Ikoi walked into the battle grounds which was thankfully deep in the mountains, at first glance it looked like nothing more than a huge field surrounded by tall pine trees but upon closer inspection Ikoi saw all of the streams running through the length of the field, Ikoi jumped over 1 of the small streams before noticing his opponent drinking tea, Ikoi thought 'at least he has the the decency not to attack me before he introduces himself' but as Ikoi made his way to his opponent he asked "mind if I have a drink with you" but before his fellow captain could answer Ikoi plopped down beside him and pulled a small cup from his captains jacket.

Cody looked at him and nodded, "Of course" He poured him a cup of tea, "So your the one that Ill be facing." He said looked at him.

Ikoi smiled and took the cup from his felow captain and said "yes I am your opponent and thank you for the tea" Ikoi then began to slowly sip the tea before saying " wow this is good" Ikoi hadnt had tea in a long time because he was always on the move and therefore didnt have the time to make it, because of this Ikoi had begun to drink sake like water, Ikoi then thought ' I need to stop drinking so much' but for now Ikoi was completely content in letting the gentle breeze blow across the feild and through his green hair and sipping tea with his new friend even though Ikoi knew he would have to fight him.

Ikoi handed the cup he used back to cody and said" my name is Ikoi Hankari Captain of squad 13 and nice to meet you to and now that introductions are out of the way shall we get started?" Ikoi asked as he got to his feet but not waiting for an answer Ikoi jumped about 10ft away from his fellow captain and pushed his zanpakto out of its sheath 1 inch with his thumb incase Cody wasn't a fan of telling his opponent when he as about to kill him but Ikoi remained skeptical hopefully his oppenent had some manners when it came to fighting.

Cody nodded, "Alright... lets begin!" He stood up, turned to Ikoi and bowed in respect. He then unsheathed his zanpakto as well and got in a fighting position.

Ikoi smiled and said "alright then" Ikoi then removed his captains jacket revealing armor but as the coat hit the ground Ikoi launched himself without drawing his zanpakto becoming a blur but as he got within punching range of Cody Ikoi flash stepped behind him and while wrapping his spiritual pressure around his hand Ikoi aimed a punch directly at the bottom of his spinal cord but in the way he was positioned Ikoi not only had his full force put into the punch but the momentum of his flash step as an added bonus.

Cody jumped to the side when he saw Ikoi disappear in front of him. He jumped out of the way and turned to Ikoi, "I see... you not only fight with a zanpakto but with your fists as well, interesting..." He gripped his sword as he released more of his spiritual pressure.

Ikoi continued through with the punch as he made contact with the ground a crater the size of a boulder opened up about 5ft from where Cody stood, the crater began to fill with water because Ikoi had made the crater in the center of one of the many streams but instead of jumping out Ikoi unsheathed his zanpakto and stabbed it into the constantly filling crater and left it there as he jumped back to ground level , he then turned to Cody and said "good job that would have crippled your left arm" Ikoi knew the body and every way to nuetralize it and its many parts.

Alright just stop now. I have seen if and I'm sorry cody. I'm calling this match as Ikoi wins. Yes I know it just started, but it's really hard to answer to a one liner after writing a full paragraph.
