As Ikoi sat at his old desk doing paper he tugged at his old captains jacket and thought 'its been a long time I must have grown since I last had this on', he then reached into one of his desks many drawers and pulled out a small bottle of sake to drink as he read over his squad members files with great interest in there skills and abilities even though he already knew the majority of them but his captains duties required him to know his squad members like the back of his own hand encase he had to deploy them for a mission or send them into battle in squads, their abilities had to compliment each other.

Ikoi walked into his office fully intent on having a nice cold bottle of sake and relaxing after winning his first fight in the zankai tournament but as he looked over everything he saw a female soul reaper he did not know, before going over to his desk Ikoi asked "so who might you be" Ikoi then felt her spiritual pressure it was strong enough for a lieutenant but Ikoi still thought she was only visiting from another squad and not his lieutenant.

When what the girl had said hit him, his face lightened into a smile before saying "well its good to have you and there is no need to be so formal unless the situation demands it" Ikoi then walked past her and as he sat a his desk he pulled a bottle of sake from one of the many drawers and asked "so will you join me for a drink or would you prefer tea" Ikoi pulled his zanpakto out of his belt and set it against the wall behind his desk before saying "so how well can you fight and um I am sorry but I never got your name".

Roken watched another shinigami leave. " That wasnt completely odd or anything" She said. Then she turned to the offer of sake and smiled, " sure ill join you, and im called Roken." She saidsitting down before him. " As for fighting, I guess I wouldnt be a lieutenant unless I could carry my own weight" She chuckled.

Roken chuckled at his comment about the resignation and how he was weak. " I dont have a weakness Captain, as a lieutenant I am suppossed to be able to back you up, if I can not do my job then I should be killed dont you agree?" She said looking straight at him with her silver, almost glowing, eyes. She picked up her own bottle of sake and brought it to her lips to find it still cold, unlike his. She let the precious liquid run past her lips and down her throat, savoring the flavor. For a long time she had gotten used to the roughest of Ales, though this liquor was different. a softer, smoother taste to it. She smiled to herself and took another gulp before setting the bottle down.

I guess, if that is what you want to do, sure" She shrugged and took down the rest of the bottle, her eyes staring coldly at him, almost enough to pierce through his very core. She smiled as she let the bottle slip upon hs desk. She had a bead of the liquor still upon her lips and as she licked it at her eyes seemed to change, from peircing to dangerous. As she stood up elegantly she rested her hand on the hilt of her own blade. She then turned and made her own way to the training grounds. her yellow hair soon glistenign in the brilliant light of soul society.
