Kiri is odd as the sky blue airship is actually hidden beneath it's continent and is halfway between the floating islands that comprise the Land of Water and the ocean many miles below.

''No, I am not miserable.'' The ship finally landed, and by now, both Selter and Sasuke were dressed up as traveling merchants. Selter stepped off of the boat, and to the entrance of Kiri, ''Alright, let's go sell our wares!'' He said, in a fakely enthusiastic voice.
When they were on the boat, Selter had told Sasuke to make sure to hide his face, as if found for who he was, [[Not that Selter knows exactly who he is, but he can tell he's wanted]] there would surely be trouble. So he had helped Sasuke into a dark robe, that pretty much covered everything above his nose. ''Lifeless husks can't feel such a thing.''

The ride couldn't have been longer than that. Not only did he have to deal with a drunkard but he had to stay close to Selter even though he wanted to explore the ship he was on. Not to mention this mission of his was only getting worse by the minute. He had to wear a dark robe and pretend to be a merchant, but he kept his original outfit nearby. He still didn't talk much seeing as people would probably recognize his voice as well as his looks.
"Hn...." was his reply to the enthusiastic sound of Selter's voice.

Selter fakely smiled, and turned to Sasuke, ''Ah, my friend, you should talk more. It'll draw more customers! I didn't hire you just to stand there and look handsome,'' He said, oddly in a happy tone. He began to walk into the village, and once he got up to the doorway, he opened it, stepping down the steps, and into the plaza, ''Shall we set up shop here?'' He asked Sasuke, with a smile. ''Lifeless husks can't feel such a thing.''

Of course, for now, it was only small talk, but he had to discuss things afterwards, ''Hebi, have you ever been here before? I really don't like it.. it has such a... gross vibe.. almost as if it was a crime-filled shithole,'' He said, in a cold tone. ''Lifeless husks can't feel such a thing.''

Having nothing better to do, he stood next to Selter and scowled. The mission so far wasn't as productive as he thought it would be. Nothing interesting had happened on the ship, nothing interesting was happening where they had setup.

''No, I am not miserable.''  He put his hand under his chin, ''I see. Hebi, I don't think anyone is very interested in this crap,'' He said, referring to their wares. So he simply left them behind, though he also left a few feathers on the table, that would turn into crows if anyone tried to steal them. ''I have an idea. Hebi, I will go around gathering intel, and you must back me up, alright? If anything goes wrong, I expect for you to step in,'' He said, and walked into an alley. A guard passed by, and he came behind him, stabbing the tip of his guillotine through the mans heart, while covering his mouth. He hid the body, and took the clothes off, and walked out of the dark alley, now dressed as a guard. Another guard walked up to him a few seconds after stepping away, well on his way back to Sasuke, and asked, ''Hey, are you new?'' He asked, curiously. Selter simply replied with a nod, and a note, ''I'm from Danshokugakure. I left my village in utter disgust for it,'' He said, attempting to see the mans viewpoint. He simply raised his eyebrow, and made a slightly annoyed expression, ''What's so bad about it...?''
Selter replied, ''..It's just not my thing. This place seems to be alot better,'' He said, with a small smile. The man smiled back, in compliment of his village, ''Well, welcome aboard,'' He said, before walking off. He sighed, and walked back to Sasuke, ''That didn't give me much information.. although he didn't seem to have a bad viewpoint against the village, he's just one guard, and can't be a good example for all of them. How about you try, this time? You seem like you'd be good with getting information,'' He said, with a blank expression. ''Lifeless husks can't feel such a thing.''

He looked over at the new disguise that Selter sported and sneered a bit at the conversation he had with the guard.
'Imbecile...' he thought, referring to the lack of thought the platinum haired man had.
"Wouldn't a transformation jutsu suffice instead of donning ridiculous clothing styles?" he asked flatly. "Or are you afraid a chakara level spike would set off alarm in others? Do you not think they have special forces scattered around or know when one of their own are dead? You should think more clearly, Selter. Things like that could get you killed and our cover blown. If you cannot be mindful of these things, I will leave you to finish this on my own." he said more coldly than usual.
"I'm not even going to participate in your childish games." he said flatly, then sat down near the wares and stared off boredly.

And when I kill people, I gain theirs. When they die, they are erased from existence. Their body dissipates, and the memories of them fade from the world. This man that I killed, did not exist. His friends will not remember him. His life is truly over. He is erased from existence. No guard will find him. No guard will look. Do you understand, now, Hebi? I am not a fool. Even at the short distance away, there are snippets of conversation drifting throughout the marketplace.

This whole conversation would have to have been the longest he has had with someone other than his companion in a long time and it surprised himself that he had said so much, but something told him he wouldn't regret it all entirely later.
"I have a personal mission I must carry out along with other personal things." he stated factually.
'Staying here is quite pointless, isn't it? I had better walk around and see if I can pick up on something that way...'
As he stood up, he pulled his hood downward a bit more.
"I think I shall just simply walk around and blend in. You should take one side of town and I the other. We shall meet up on the opposite side of our starting point." he said staring Selter in the eye. His eyes moved over to a small group nearby.
"Proving my point..." he mumbled.

''No, I am not miserable.'' He was a bit curious as to what his mission was, but he did not ask. ''Alright. I'll see you in a bit, then,'' He said, and disappeared in a burst of feathers. A small portal of shadows appeared next to the Chuunin who were talking, hidden under a coin inside of the fountain. They would not be able to hear or see it, but Selter was hidden in that shadow. He began to listen to their conversation. And furthermore, since his main element was water, he could manipulate the fountains water to his liking, incase something were to happen. ''Lifeless husks can't feel such a thing.''
