This is a modern fantasy role play about humans and protectors. The protectors can be any mythical race (vampires, werewolves, faeries, angels, etc.) and can come from any background but for one reason or another are trapped on Earth until they save the life of a human. They cannot choose the human they must save for fate has already selected it for them. If they succeed they may pass on into the next world and live in peace. But if they fail then they are damned to walk the Earth forever. The stakes are high but the reward is even higher. How far will they go to save the life of their chosen human?

~Personality: Very perky, full of energy, and generally fun to be around. Does not focus well and tends to get frustrated with people who cannot understand her. Tends to speak quickly especially when she is excited or on drugs.
~History: At first Clover seems like a typical rebellious teenager with her strangely colored hair and wild clothes. But once you get to know her you see the inner turmoil this girl goes through. Her mother left when she was young leaving her alcoholic dad to take care of her. Clover started with the drinking at the age of 10 and drugs soon followed. Her favorites are mushrooms and cocaine which she keeps stashed in her room. She has a problem focusing in school because of her ADHD but it makes her all the more fun to be around. She earned her nickname Spryte from her friends for being so active and flighty. Clover loves colors and abstract art so she can sometimes be seen painting or visiting art galleries. But most of the time Clover can be found at high school parties having a good time.

~Personality: As long as she isn't angry, then she is a very sweet, easy to get along with girl. The only problem is, the smallest thing can set her off... especially talk of family.
~History: Born in a less than caring family, Danni thought she was doing rather well looking after herself. All through school, she never got into trouble, and pretended as though nothing was wrong at home. Even those closest to her new nothing, just that they weren't allowed over.
But one day a girl in class was complaining about how unfair it is that she wasn't allowed to the movies. Danni flipped out and nearly killed the girl.
Ever since, she has only been back home twice, and is always getting caught by the cops for having fits of anger for the smallest thing.

~History: In his past life Frederick was a partying youth with not a care in the world. He died at the age of 24 from alcohol poisoning. The gods deemed him unready to pass into the next life so they stuck him back on earth to try and change the course of a human's life. He has a band named The Sanguine Penguins that plays most weekends in the local bars and clubs. When he is not playing with his band Frederick can be found running his own club Maddock Padlock.

~Personality: She can come off as cold at first, but once you get over that you find a very loyal friend. Her temperament, though, can easily flare up at any moment. At these moments she can be homicidal if pushed far enough.
~History: Kaome grew up in a ninja's clan during the The Sengoku period or Warring States period in Japan. She was well trained in hand-to-hand combat, the ninja's sword, and throwing stars/blades. One day, after completing a mission she noticed smoke coming in the direction of her village. Fearing the worst she ran, only to find the fear grounded and her village and it's people burned. Vowing revenge she spent years searching for those who killed her family and friends. She had been able to track all of them, killing them, until the last one. In her rage she left herself open and was killed. The Powers that Be found her lacking and wouldn't allow her to pass on, sending her back to earth.
Now she helps teach in a Karate dojo, wondering if she'll find the one she needs to protect.

"Wheeee!" squealed Spryte from her swing at the park. She had been hanging out with friends there to waste time before a huge start of the school year party at a senior's house. Spryte had prepared for the party by doing a few lines before showing up at the park and now was really enjoying the swings. The higher she went the better the feeling was and she expressed it with her laughter and slightly obnoxious squeals. Her friends had not shown up yet but she did have a few young onlookers on the playground and she wanted to show off for them. And there is no better way to show off to younger kids than to swing as high as you can on the swing set.

Kaome watched as another girl grabbed a swing. She smiled as she watched them, it was so easy for them to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Looking down at her watch she noticed that if she didn't move soon, she would be late for work. Eh, I can be late just one day...I'll just blame it on the nonexsitant alarm clock. She had now moved from leaning on the wooden log fence to actually sitting on it.
