Squad IV is the squad that is the medical personal for the Soul Society. Squad IV's head quarters is also the Sōgō Kyūgo Tsumesho (the coordinated relief station) which is the primary medical facility of the Gotei 13 and all of Soul Society. The purpose of Squid IV is to heal and aid all shinigami in the soul society.
