The smell of antiseptic hits your nose as you enter the white washed rooms of the medical center. Many nurses and doctors are scampering around, attending to the needs of the patients within. You notice that this is quite possibly the cleanest looking part of the ship. At the reception desk, a wide-eyed brunet looks up and asks you if you need any help.

It was said that scents could trigger memories more consistently than anything else, be it sights or noises, people or music or pain. This was certainly holding true, the familiar smell of antiseptic and generic cleaning products arousing memories of places he had worked when he still had someone to work for. The way a man's skin would part at the touch of a scalpel like the Red Sea, the way lives could be saved or sacrificed at his discretion. Hospitals smelled the same, were the same, whether in the air or on the ground; it was only the people in them who changed, and only the circumstances they found themselves in.
However, none of that mattered right now. Especially not the memories. They were unwanted at the moment, of no use- mere phantasms of distractions. This is why one Yakushi Kabuto hated waiting: it gave him far too much time to think. If there was one thing he hated, it was having nothing to do and being bored. "Where are they?" he gritted out irritably. It could be allowed, he mused, he had traveled a long way and then had been sent to wait in this white purgatory for a sentence from the powers that be. In other words, the Yaoikage. Kabuto could hardly wait.

((Shaaaaaaane! I joined! Somehow. I'm pretty sure I had resolved to stay away from RPs, but Mira's really convincing. XD She said I should wait to get cleared by you since you're the Yaoikage and I'm kind of a known sociopath and all. Take your time though, I'm just going to go read the fanfiction and then head off to bed. ^_^ ))

Mira walked into the front doors of the medical center, "Hello? Is anyone here? I thought that I would bring over some bento in case there are any medics that needed to work overtime."
She chewed her lip, looking nervously around as she clutched the boxes. Ever since the incident five years ago where she woke up in the white walled medical center... she had been rather nervous around the place.

Shane walked into the hospital, and after noticing Mira, smiled at her, ''Hey.. do you know if me and Saisei could lie down? I exhausted myself a bit too much that battle, hehe,'' He said, with a small smile, dropping a sweat. ''Oh.. and I got this from it,'' He said, before putting out his hand, holding a small glowing bracelet, ''Know where I could get this appraised? I don't know what it's for.. but if it came from THAT thing, it must be worth something.. And if it's not, then I'm gonna choke a b***h.''
