In the unchanging world of Lys Alana, there has been trouble brewing. Some of the Winnowers had spotted eyeblights slipping into their domain. The seers have warned the Perfects (their noblity) about the vinebreeders and outsiders who didn't agree with their rules any longer. The word has reached even Nath, their handsome and powerful leader. Nath has given the call for those in his forest domain to rise against the eyeblights and put an end to the fight before war is brought about. Are you with him or the eyeblights?

Brief history: Flarg and his caravan had come into Lys Alana to trade their wares. They were under strict orders to keep their hoods up at all times while they were in the woods. When several of his companions disobeyed they soon found themselves being hunted by the winnowers and other hunters of eye blights. He survived by hiding in a hollow tree while his friends passed him. He still hears their screams in his sleep.
