I thought I'd make a topic about my favorite episode, because it fascinates me so!
Terrorform.
It was one of the first episodes I watched out of order back on my Red Dwarf Youtube days, because I couldn't find anything on Series 2 for some odd reason.
I thought the concept of getting into Rimmer's mind and how his emotions work for him because of his past and his present life (or rather, hologram runtime) was a very... interesting premise.
Also, the scene where Lister, Cat, and Kryten are firing the Bazookoids. That is a moment of all-time awesome for all three, showing just how they'd get down and dirty to help one another if it all came to it.
And let's not forget at the end, the cool scene where Rimmer's positive emotions battle his negative. The fact they used rapiers appealed to me more. =D
I'll admit to almost fangirling at the part where Rimmer is oiled. >//<
And also almost panicking when the "Hope" grave was freshly dug. I literally said "Lister, hurry..." in a worried tone of voice out loud when I first saw the episode.
And you know that even though the crew SAYS they don't mean it, they do love Rimsy. heart

That was a fab eppisode, though I must say, one of my favourite parts was the tiny little gravestone for his charm.
That whole musketeers thing was pretty clever too.

Oh yeah, that "Look, this one's minute!" line really cracked me up. I got a little laugh out of that.
And let's not forget the beginning, with Kryten's hand being mistaken for the tarantula. My Vice Captain showed me the clip before I actually watched the full episode on Youtube (BBC only has clips D:< ), and I laughed so hard at that part I was crying.

Oh god, that's probably my favourite part of that episode, I actually forgot about that bit.
I love that part, I just love the whole one handed typing thing and then the cursing about it and such. So funny.

The part I remember the most was...
Cat: I'm scared!
Lister: How d'you think I feel?!
Cat: You haven't SEEN IT!!!
And then they both look. XD

Oh man, yes!
And the line from the start, when Lister is trying to fix Kryten and he says that sawing him in two would invalidate his warranty. And that he wouldn't trust him to open a sardine can that was already open.

OHHHHH.. that's the one you keep saying you love>.> memory was blank forever..... was just too lazy to ever think which episode was terraform.... rimmer getting oiled is one of th scenes that I would like to forget.... like the one before the rimmer song >:[ ...kiss kiss

Aye, the part with Kryten's hand being a spider up lister's trousers was hilarious. I was totally floored haha.
Terroform was all in all, a pretty memorable episode, one of my favourites.
The charm gravestone was pretty hala, i agree.

A funny story.
I heard that as soon as Chris Barrie found out he was gonna have the oiling scene, he went to the gym so he could get fit before he showed what's under the uniform on-screen. ;D
Needless to say his working out paid off. heart

I personally LOVED the Oiled Rimmer. *Blushes Profusely* I think he looks hot even today on Masive Machines, not that I watch it often. Sad huh lol. I for one am glad he went to the Gym. It was greatly appriceated.
The Hand Tarantula affair had me on the floor. Every time I see it I am in stitches. I feel it is the funniest scene in all of Red Dwarf. Even funnier than Kat's Dream. Where the boy's do a Caberet style song number. Tounge Tied. Funny as hell.

It was a pleasant surprise for sure. Good old educational channel for showing old British comedies at 11:30 at night. heart

XD I bet you liked to see it on TV a lot more than you did on the computer. ... unless I find a job, get myself a little TV and DVD player, I fear I'll never have the luxury. What did you notice new about it, if anything? =D

I think that was the channel, yeah. It's a lot more convenient to watch on TV, but the quality wasn't that great honestly. u_u
