Biography: I was an orphan since I was born. I never knew either of my parents. I grew up on the streets, surviving anyway I could. Then one day, while stealing a bit of bread from the market, I was caught by a guard. Lucky for me, he had a kind demeanor and instead of turning me in, he took me back to his home, claiming that he was going to teach me manners. So I ended up being more-or-less adopted by him and his new wife. They really treated me like a daughter, and I even began to look to them as my parents. However, our happiness was short-lived. His wife, who had always been sickly, contracted a deadly disease and fell gravely ill, a few years later. The doctor told us that the disease was very rare, and there was little hope. There was medicine which had the ability to save her, if it was given in time to stop the disease. However, this medicine was extremely expensive, and their was no way we could afford it. We lost all hope, and resigned ourselves to the tragedy which fate had bestowed upon us. That's when I met him. Harro. The leader of the Black Dragon Crime Syndicate. He came to our house one night, hoping to make a quick buck by trying to sell "miracle cures" to us. My father started to chase him out, but Harro suddenly produced the exactly bottle of medicine we needed. He told my father that he would sell it to him, but a price. My father told him, that we were poor and had no money, but Harro pressed on, by telling him that perhaps they could instead trade. He told my father that he would give him the medicine in exchange for me. Immediately, my father refused, telling him that he would never make such a terrible trade and slammed the door in his face. I was touched, but once again we where left to the realization that now nothing could save mother. As the days wore on, she got sicker, and sicker, and I felt guiltier and more distressed. I could save her, yet I did nothing. My father tried to comfort me, but it was to no avail. Nothing could comfort me. Why should I live happily, while she died? After all I was an orphan who had lived day-to-day on the streets, and she was a beautiful, loving woman, who had welcomed me into her home as her daughter. She had done nothing but give for me, and I had done nothing in return. Now was she to give the ultimate sacrifice? I wouldn't allow it. So, one night I packed a small bag, and snuck out, in search of Harro. It took a while to find him, but eventually I did. He was only too happy to make a deal with me. My life for the medicine. I swore to become his trusted follower for the rest of my days, if he would only give me the medicine to save my mother's life. So by the morning, I was gone. I left the city with Harro, only leaving behind me the bottle of medicine, and a single note. "I'm sorry."
