Aura of Terror: In his Duke Form, Astatoth emanate an aura of horror and dread. Those who are used to it, are immune to fear or he doesn't want to affect, feel nothing. Anyone else is attacked by a primal fear, a feeling of dread.
Chaos Fire Teleportation: Astatoth can use teleport in a small vortex of harmless Chaos fire.
Bio: Unlike all other Hell Dukes, Astatoth wasn't born a Hell Duke. He was the first demon who could kill a Duke and take over its place. Astatoth was a simple demon in the beginning of his life. Killing and destroying were things he usually did. But when he was summoned by a human lord, he decided he wouldn't be a simple demon anymore. He was able to kill the lord, tricking him on signing a pact that would make it possible to him to do so. He took the lord's soul and his small feud. With that, he wasn't a simple demon anymore, but a Pact Demon, one that humans would look for when they needed a pact.
Unlike some thought, Demons can evolve. Become stronger and better, they can achieve better abilities, powers and other rights. And that was what Astatoth kept doing, as he slowly made his way up in the power stair of Hell. With some souls he got from pacts, he was able to create his first Legion, a pack of demons extremely loyal to him. He then became a Lord.
After becoming a Lord Demon, his power started growing at an impressive pace. And it made Alocer, the Duke of the area of Hell Astatoth was living, apprehensive of the demon. When a demon like Astatoth started gaining power, he would try to take over a Duke's position. Before Astatoth could become stronger, Alocer and his Legions attacked him. He was defeated and casted away.
With hate toward Alocer growing within him, Astatoth left to wander around the worlds, to find a way to overthrow the 3rd Duke. And he found his answer in the sunken city of R'lyeh, in the middle of one of the bigger patches of empty ocean in the human world. There, he found a creature so strong that demons were afraid of it. The creature was a Great Old One, god-like creatures from the outer worlds. The creature was called Chtulhu. With Chtulhu's "help", he found a way to overthrow Alocer. Gaining a sword made of Chutlhu's unnatural flesh, Astatoth returned to Hell, to destroy the Duke. After a long battle with it, Astatoth finally killed Alocer, finishing off the demon who stopped him from growing stronger. And now Astatoth took his place as the 3rd Duke of Hell.
Personality: Astatoth is a rather strange demon. When calm or happy, he's a friendly, funny and rather loud demon. When he's angered, he's silent and can produce fulminant stares. When in a violent mood, he's vicious and ruthless. Also, because of his origins, he's a trickster. His tricks depend of his mood. They can be funny or fatal.
