I'm retracting my original idea for this subforum and giving over to Zamirea. The Gallery will be her domain until further notice. Tread lightly!
Zamirea
Thank you, Celdia. Right, so when you walk into this Gallery, what do you see laying infront of you?? That's right. It's an old book. Not just any old book, though. Take a closer look. It's called The Portfolio. Go on, look through it. ^__^
On to more serious buisness...
When posting your works, make a new topic. Make the title of this thread what the title of your masterpiece is. Then add one of the following tags to the title: (Poem) (Story) (Art) (Graphic). Please, if there is something you want to post that doesn't fit these discriptions, PM me first to get the "okay".
When posting a story it is a great idea to seperate paragraphs with spaces between them, since you can't indent.
If you don't understand what I mean, look at some of the stories already posted.
Rules:
1. Absolutely no spam will be tolorated. The only posts you should make on other people's threads are to disscuss their work.
2. Do not post in the Portfolio. This is for me to man only. It would be much like writing all over a teacher's textbook. So don't do it. Thanks.
3. Do not quote anyone in the gallery. If you do, the quote will be removed from your post. There is no need for it, we can all see who it is that you are talking to.
4. When we say "critique" we don't mean, "make stupid comments about the story/poem or what happens in the story/poem. Please, this is meant for giving your opinions about the works and how someone could maybe improve them. You know, suggestions.
5. In the beautiful words of Celdia, "Now, I really hope this is unnecessary, but please, don't flame anyone's work. A serious critiquing is all well and good, but just because you don't like how something looks/sounds is no reason to be rude. Common courtesy here folks. And with that, I bid you happy arts!"

Y'see all this below here? Ignore it. I'm only leaving it incase we need it later. Take it away, Zami!
The Gallery is a showcase for fine arts where you can give and recieve criticism on your work. Poetry, artwork...heck, even literary essays. Whatever you've got, post it here. For the sake of order, use the following format.
When Posting Your Works
Please make the title of your thread the same as the title of your work, assuming it will fit in the subject line. Also, please add a tag at the end giving a quick, one-word description of it in the thread title. Examples: (Poem) (Art) (Essay), etc. Put it in parentheses, that way we can quickly locate the thread. When something new is posted, one of the mods will Sticky the work, making it easy to find for critiquing.
Please, do not post in someone else's Work thread. Work threads should be for the artist only to leave notes about the work in.
When Posting Critiques
If you're the first person to create a Critique Thread, name that thread exactly the same as the Work thread, except change the ( ) tag to (Critique) or (Crit). Critique threads will not be Stickied, keeping them organized away from the actual Work threads. I'll make a demonstration of this with Zami's "Dark Side" Poem.
Now, I really hope this is unnecessary, but please, don't flame anyone's work. A serious critiquing is all well and good, but just because you don't like how something looks/sounds is no reason to be rude. Common courtesy here folks. And with that, I bid you happy arts!
