I don't want to clutter up the guild with all of my questions, so I'll just put them all in here, okay? I have MANY questions now that I finally got my circular knitting needles. I'll number them... sweatdrop

1. Will it take a long time for my tube to get wider if I only increase once in every round?

2. I don't know how to decrease in the round. Should I just decrease once in every round?

3. I was planning on making a star plush and I wasn't sure how to make a pointy tip. Should I decrease quickly to get the pointy shape or should I do it gradually?

That's all of my questions........for now. dun, dun, dunnn~

I tried Googling and Youtubing all of this and I found nothing. crying Well, I hope someone can help lol

It'll take awhile, and might be asymmetrical. I think it would be best to increase at least twice on opposite sides to avoid this.

If the way the stitch leans matters to you, then you'll want to figure out which decrease leans the way you want, but either a k2tog or a skp (slip knit pass slipped stitch over) will work fine (they lean in different ways, though, so keep that in mind).

Decrease quickly to get a pointy tip.

I heart you so much, thanks. I was wondering about the decreasing because once I finished decreasing and did the drawstring bind off, it was lumpy...decorative, but lumpy.

I noticed that on either side of my knitting, the sides are kind of loose. Is it because my tension isn't as tight or is this normal? WAIT! I figured it out. I was decreasing too loosely. I'm going to start tugging gently when I knit from now on.
