3D> New Volume From Layer(s) in PS CS5

HALP!!

Okay, so I`ve recentley upgraded from PS CS4 to CS5, and today when I tried to use my "New volume from layers" option under 3D, it wouldn`t let me saying it`s "Not currently avaliable". I have more than one layer selected, so thats not the problem. And I`ve tried resetting my preferences. All the other options under 3D work fine, so I`ve no idea whats wrong.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong?

I can't even use the 3D function on my computer, my netbook is stupid, and my desktop is an auctioned off school computer without Direct X Draw or Direct X 3D compatibility.... ******** my life?

I`m was devastated for a minute.

Buuuut I made do with what I had. :3

You should just upgrade your motherboard? I think that`s possible, if you take it in and watnot. I`m sure it`d most likley cost a leg and a front tooth though... >,<;

the model is too old to do anything with, and finding a compatible graphics card is what is need, and can't do

Man that blows!

I wish you luck, Watson! Cause you`ll need it. I still remember gool ol Chitty Chitty Bang. She still hasn`t gotten to the last bang part yet xD like the lil engine that could.
Isn`t it amazing what computers could do even though they`re old though? All those good memories :3
