I'll be working on this as my stay in France continues. I'll try to up-date and add on a daily basis until I'm caught up. Gods there is so much info that I need to put down.

Travel Tips:

-Try flying during the weekdays. There tends to be less people on these flights, so it's more enjoyable.

-Bring stuff to make yourself comfortable. I brought a pair of fleece socks to wear on the plane and it felt better than wearing shoes the whole time.

-Wear clothes that will make it easy to pass through security. There is no need to worry about fashion on these flights. When I fly (where ever it is I'm going) I tend to wear;
-yoga pants~ stretchy, comfort, no belt needed
-simple loose T-shirt~ comfort, loose, can be warm
-light jacket~ it gets cold in planes, a simple and light jacket is the best
-fleece socks~ warm, comfort
-slip on shoes~ easy to go through security with, no laces

-Bring only a few things onto the plane with you. Planes to Europe tend to have movies and other forms of entertainment. You will also be buying stuff, and that will add more weight.

TIPS:

- Learn a little bit of French before you go. This will help you when there is no English around.
-NOTE: Sortie is exit

-If you are staying in Paris for a length of time, I suggest getting a Metro Card. You should get some form of Metro Card regardless of your length of stay. Metro is a reliable, fast, and cheap way of getting around the city. I highly recommend it.

-Just walk around and don't cram in your day. I was suffering from jet-lag for the first week of my stay, but I still managed to do a lot everyday. Pace yourself by choosing several activities that you are just dying to do, but also leave a lot of time to walk around.

Fun Stuff:

-If you are 18 or older, try going to some bars. Some bars have local cover bands playing, and they are a lot of fun to see. It's also interesting to "People Watch" in these types of places.

-Walk around at night. Especially if you are in Paris. Yes, it is nice to see the city in the day and when everything is open, but Paris by night is a lot more livelier (at least in my opinion). You'll see people relaxing and all around enjoying themselves. It's very refreshing and when you go to bed after you are in a happier mood (hopefully).
