Aww...Thank you everyone for making this such a great guild!
At first I was hesitant about taking a staff position in this guild but I was swayed by Rikki's great vision for the guild and knew this would end up being much more than just another Japanese guild. I often hang around forums looking for people who need translations, and giving them for free. And the first time I met Rikki I had no clue what was at the time "just another Japanese translation" would lead to.
(Out of 2-5 PMs? Really?)
Everyone has really made this a great guild to be in and I'm proud to be a part of it.
Looking at the
guilds ahead of us in the general section, most seem to be roleplay guilds (The Yaoi Guild is #1 for "Japanese"? Seriously?) which might be hard to pass, but considering no other Japanese learning guilds made that list,
I think we've come a long way already.
With the
language category it seems all of the Japanese guilds there are public, which probably contributed to their rank since the guild search is set to "public only" by default. (But I pity their mods having to deal with all the trolls)
BTW, I thought it'd be nice to say that by being on the first page for the language category, we kicked The Japanese Student Guild to the second page.
