I just noticed that if you search for "Japanese" and "show all guilds" we're #9 (of the 10 on the first page), and #10 if you limit it to guilds in the foreign language section. I think that's pretty good considering we haven't been around as long as some guilds.

I think some celebrating may be in order. mrgreen

Then let's party all the way to the number 1 spot! Can everyone here legally drink alcohol? I've got coolers! XD

I drink sparking cider to celebrate things. xd

I can drink, being old enough to, but seeing what drunk people are like, and having learned about what drinking does in Bio class, I've never had alcoholic beverages and don't plan to,
(plus the Buddhist fifth precept is to try to refrain from taking intoxicants and that's the reason I tell to Japanese people)
but I'll drink cider. xd
I'd like to make a toast to Nihongo Kurabu, and to it's continued success. Cheers! *clinks glasses*

Cheers! *clinks glass and drinks orange smoothie cooler*

Now what'll I do with all this extra booze? I'm not a big drinker myself, but I don't mind coolers. I guess I'll give it to my coworkers. They're drinkers. XD

OMG! I checked just now and we jumped to #8 from 9 on the general search! Limiting it to the language catagory we're still #10, but it's still on the first page.

gimmie sakesakesake. . . ;0

awwww, you guys. . . . . **tears up**
I think this is all thanks to all of you! You guys have been great,
taking the time to check back here and post--keeping this guild alive and active.
I only want to try and repay you all by making this the #o1 Japanese guild on Gaia,
active, fun, helpful, stylish (LOL.), and everything you ever hoped it to be like~

I just wanted to thank all of you for all the hard work you helped put into our community here,
and let you all know that if you ever need anything at all, just let me know. ;D
I'm going to work hard to revamp this guild over the next few days, and let the
Japanese Student Guild know what's coming their way!!!

Thank you all, so much, again. Especially Rin-chan who've been an UNBELIEVABLE HUGE help and right-hand-...女, as well as a really good friend.
A lot of this couldn't be possible if she wasn't part of our staff. & I'm lucky to have met her;
asking around for translations from a lovey-dovey pen-pal,
and releazing that out of 2-5 PMs, Rin was the ONLY one who knew what they were doing. xD

So again and again, THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!!
You all have been so great! CHEERS ALL! WE MADE PAGE #1!!!

Aww...Thank you everyone for making this such a great guild!

At first I was hesitant about taking a staff position in this guild but I was swayed by Rikki's great vision for the guild and knew this would end up being much more than just another Japanese guild. I often hang around forums looking for people who need translations, and giving them for free. And the first time I met Rikki I had no clue what was at the time "just another Japanese translation" would lead to.
(Out of 2-5 PMs? Really?)

Everyone has really made this a great guild to be in and I'm proud to be a part of it.

Looking at the guilds ahead of us in the general section, most seem to be roleplay guilds (The Yaoi Guild is #1 for "Japanese"? Seriously?) which might be hard to pass, but considering no other Japanese learning guilds made that list,
I think we've come a long way already.
With the language category it seems all of the Japanese guilds there are public, which probably contributed to their rank since the guild search is set to "public only" by default. (But I pity their mods having to deal with all the trolls)
BTW, I thought it'd be nice to say that by being on the first page for the language category, we kicked The Japanese Student Guild to the second page.

For some reason, I'm really happy that many of the posts in the threads on this guild are very recent.

I was really looking for that in all of the other Japanese guilds.
