I animated my shop banner but now the quality is terrrible.

There is some drop in quality. I edited the post to show the non animated one. Or maybe I am going crazy. redface

The grainy-ness is barely visible. I had to look at that for about 5 minutes to notice that the glowy part is a bit grainy. And that's only because PNG is the best quality and GIF is one step down.

          When the file size of a .gif is big, it tends to distort, especially with animation. I'm not sure if this will help, but usually tinkering with the "optimize." Changing the color info in that to a higher number should help a little. Though I can't seem much, or extreme distortion on yours. (I use adobe image ready, so I don't know if your using that or not).
