A large, half-built skyscraper. The lower half of the Skyscraper is fully built, though completely unfurnished. The upper half is only metal beams and framing. The wind is strong, and becomes stronger the higher one climbs. The competitors are warned about the possibility of a tornado. The battle will start at noon.

╚══════════════╝ Zero stood against the skyscraper's bottom with his arms crossed. He suddenly felt empowered as his power over wind flared, this was his kind of fight. "Alright, let's do this!" With moderate control over wind, he was not worried about being defeated by wind, he welcomed it. The long sword clanked against his back, it was hefty and made climbing up difficult. That was the only thing that made his climb hard, he made it to a moderate height and kicked in a window, he rolled inside and removed his blade. "Ok, guard up, temper down, I can't afford to lose it yet." He'd overburn with such strong wind, physics...
Zero stood up and looked around, he had a lot of moving room and this building was big enough for him to sneak away or sneak up on his foe. But he considered that happening to him also. Ah, praying to some god for protection would seem pretty out of character, guess I can't ask prayers to save me... He laughed darkly, but his mind wandered, he thought about how a fight on the inside would go, this place would be shattered if he wasn't careful. Shattered and on fire, that was some way for a building to go, it surely counted as sending something out with a bang. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

Claire watched him from the darkness, as she was one with it at that moment. Or... sort off. That was one of the better ways to explain it to thos ethat knew not of her clan's abilities. While she had managed to slip her way into the building, examining and memorizing it's layout, she had also been able to observe from her hidden place that her opponent wa son his way... and that he shone with the holy aura of the knights of the light. Hehehehe... Knight-light... how cute... She waited patiently, while he settled and got into position. She knew not what his powers were, but, by his expression she could tell he felt confident and almost at home... This would not be an easy battle, but she wpould do her best for her lord Fleur.
Then he shouted to start the match, and at this she pondered. Holy Knights were so rash, soemtimes... she preferred the striders who understood her love of stealth. Still, this was an internal debate on how to enter the fighgt. She did not want to be too flashy and show off too much, but she didn't want to just appear out of nowhere... giving him the first attack. That could break her. Still, some holy knights had a high code of honor that kept them from attacking when somone was not prepared, but then again, she was a dark knight... they would not hesitate for her. So, it was settled. Sneak attack it was, and it was done, from his own shadow. Sadly, the shadow was not behind him as she preferred, but to his side. Still sneak worthy, as she slipped out off the shadow, striking with her unnatural weapon and fading back into the darkness. All he would hear, besides the clink of metal was a child's giggle.

╚══════════════╝ Zero clentched his teeth as he felt a blade sink in to his body, followed by laughter which really gave his fight an ominous feel, not a straight up brawl like he wanted. To at least try to get an even fight since that hit came from his shadow he raised his blade up. "Alright then, if that's how you want to play it." His blade exploded in a shower of light, his hands were already burning up. "You can't hide from me during this whole fight anyway." He was absolutely determined to bring down holy judgement anywhere he needed to, and this was one of those places. He was at a tactical disadvantage though because he couldn't disappear during the battle.
The most he could do for the moment was wait for his opponent to make another move, then he stood a chance to bring them out in to the open with his agumented sword. Even though the blade's life was drained, Zero could sense it's bloodlust, all of his training was going to have to pay off here so he could advance. He stood, not even daring to blink, much less take a breath. He was not going to be caught off guard again, it had only begun to get interesting. Gonna be one heck of a party, demons are so fun to be around. Of course they were deadly and efficient but he was...Zero. Being headstrong was a good trait anyway. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

(alright, I have defeated the evil photobucket pop up... for now)
Claire's eyes glimmered with excitement. Her opponent was far from pleased by her surprise attack, not that she wanted him to be... but his frustraiting was... rather enjoyable. Through the darkness, she watched him... his sword radiated holy light, the kind that made her have to look away for moments at a time. So... he can control the light with his sword like I can use shadow to my advantage... Does he not know that his light is growing my playground? And indeed it was... though the shadows were thinner, they were longer as well. Now, she wasn't like a vampire or any kind of gouls, those things that feared the light, that of the natural day or the holy glitter that the paladins used. No, she was a half demon... unlike the man waiting for her next move, she at least had human blood in her veins.
She needed a good plan. He would be watching his own shadow, as well as those around him since she used that sneak attack... However, if she went out into the open... it would be a very short battle. Sure, she could fight hand to hand, and she had a special weapon of her own which was as much defense as it was offense... but still. What was the fun in fighting when she couldn't play first? So, she decided to dwell within the building as much as she could. Off, in t he distance, the girl reached out with a shadowy arm and... waved at him. Yes, she waved at him... then she disappeared. Again, a little further away, but to the right, she did it again. Then, long moments passed when... somewhat of a sucking noise sounded above the demon boy. If he looked up, he would see a blob of shiny silver glooping down towards him. As it dropped lower and lower, as if it truly was slow, then it burst out in all directions and completely dropped. Frankly, she gave him the time to get out of the way... after all, this was just a game. She shifted through the shadows to watch her work as soon as she let it leave her body above Zero. She was no longer inside the shadow, par se... but her other ability to appear as shadow when standing within one was taking effect. Oh how she loved corners and other obstacles that provided shade.

╚══════════════╝ "That wasn't enough yet...I need more light." Zero dropped to one knee as fires started to burn all around and on him, he had a need to concentrate for a second. The light was enough to thin out shadows pretty well and also make them very prominent, if she decided to show up again he'd see her this time. But he couldn't sit still now, his blood was literally on fire. He smiled demonically as she decided to continue with this game. Zero heard a strange sound above him and moved a portion of the flame upward to burn whatever that stuff was that was coming down towards him. "Ok, that's enough of that, unless you want to end up toasted with this entire building." He was bluffing, his demonic state was so young that he had trouble burning many things, and water tossed him back to his human state.
Zero looked at the windows and decided to go to a higher floor. He jumped out of the window and stabbed his blade in to the metal framing and climed once again. He sat on the completely unfinished top, meditating because of the focus required to keep this shape. He could create a blaze and that's it, if he won here he might be able to make a small inferno. His final stage would be the best, he would be able to generate a hellfire and fight on after that. He stopped looking ahead for the moment though and returned to the fight at hand. He guessed she would not follow him since she preferred dark areas instead of being out in the open. He kept an eyes on everything though, maybe because he was a little paranoid after that stab. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

(nice pics. I'll post when I get to school, I'm running out of time before my bis showes, so I just wanted to check in,)
He was kidding, right? Toasted? Her? Her metal? No... nononono.... all his flames did to her liquid metal was heat it somewhat. To be honest, doing so could prove to be helpful... especially as the blob shifted into a humanoid form and then climbed out the window after him, metallic claws digging into the walls, scaling upwards to the unfinished portion. When it came upon him meditating, it's form solidified a bit more, making the humanoid thing look more female. Wth ease, it sauntered over, lifted a hand, and beconed him like a fighter would do in a movie, the signal to "bring it on."
There was not much shadow above, with there mearly being beams and such... so, Claire stayed on the final, mostly finished, floor where she could observe. Playing was nice, but her tactics also had... other things in mind, like assessing the boy's skill, and tiring him out at the same time. When the time came for her to strike once again, she would... but she would have to make that moment count. After all, once she left a shadow up there, it would be difficult do re-enter... It was a good thing she was quite acrobatic.

╚══════════════╝ "You're askin' for it!" Zero twirled his blade and it cut lightly against the unfinished-ness of the ground he was on. He did a half-step and swung his body instead of his sword, the sword went with it anyways. The strike would have tons more force behind it with the momentum he'd gathered, would have been better if he could have spun it. But with the power he had, he possessed no doubt he could cut this thing in two and be done with it. Then again, all plans had minor nitches in them, he couldn't wait to see what this thing could do. He put all his faith in his demon sword to lead him to victory this time. His sword burst in to flames with energy from his demon side. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

Well, isn't this interesting... he's actually attacking it. A wicked grin spread across her face as she continued to watch. The metal her let the boy make contact, then melted itself over his sword as it flamed. Her liquid grew hot with his demonic fire, but as it attached itself to his sword, it slipped down the length of the blade to attack him once more, now more dangerous as it was starting to glow with his own heat. C'mon, boy... put up a better fight than that... not that I'm not enjoying the show... It was nice to have someone do dirty work for you. She would occupy him a bit more before making another strike of her own... She hoped his own flames would do him damage for now.

╚══════════════╝ "Come on, burn already." He actually wanted to see it burst in to flames. He impaled his blaade in to the ground and sent another fire wave through it. "Burn!" As if coaxing the fire worked, it grew in size and heat, he was almost at his maximum heat, after that it was all just cooling down. Zero had to let go of the blade for good measure, that thing could be dangerous. His favorite part though was that in his demon form fire didn't hurt him much, he was on fire himself! The metal was still a danger though, can liquid metal evaporate? Probably not. Can being hot then instantly cooled stop this thing, probably, all in good time. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

The other half of her metal vibrated softly against her skin, watching as her glowing half slopped away from the sword as the boy let go of it and whipped at him like a snake would. Alright... three, two, one... now. She left her shelter of the dark for the time being appearing right behind the boy again, as the glowing metal distracted him. With the metal on her body, neck to toe, she made sure it was hard enough to remain her armor and then extended it along her good arm to strike at his spine before aiming a sweeping kick to his legs. Her goal was to knock him off the beams, and if she couldn't... well, it was a good thing she was a master of evasive maneuvers... 'Play with me"

╚══════════════╝ Zero dodged the blow with another kick step to the edge of the beam. He grabbed his sword and swung around one more, bursting in to his maximum blaze for the time being. "You're pissin' me..." Zero swung the huge flaming sword at the girl's armor, wondering if he could cut right thought it, even though it was the same material. "OFF!!!" His blade was slanted slightly so he could impale the ground again and swing back up here if he missed, lucky for him that first move got him out of danger. Things were getting more and more fun as the battle progressed. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

Claire backflipped over his swing at her, gliggling to herself. "Awww... you're no fun." The half of her metal that had been heated returned to a more humanoid form. "You're also being flanked..." Her grin flashed fangs, as she took a sauntering step towards him. The extended blade arm of her morphing into a large clawed hand. Then the metal on his other side pounced in an attmpt to envelope itself on him, hoping to attach to his ankles, knees, wrists, elbows, spine... oh yes, the spine. With her clawed hand, she reached forward to scrape at him, she would not let him strike her down as easily as he wished to. "You're a cute dmeon boy, aren't you..." Her voice cooed, as danger glinted in her eyes.

╚══════════════╝ The fires that burned on and around Zero began to die as he held on to the beam by hanging on to his blade. Seeing no other option, Zero simply smiled. "So I've been told." He made some sort of fake platform underneath his feet with his control over wind and it's increased potential at this height. The thing is, he was just keeping himself suspended by injuring his own legs, pretty simply. He removed his blade unsteadily and quickly and jumped back on to the beam. He laughed as his hair started to turn silvery-white once more. "I've been told that too." He said, preparing a new assault. ┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈┈━═☆═━┈

(You didn't state that he got away from her metal, so I'm going to assume some of it got on him)
She gave him her pretty smile as his hair went white again. It almost matched hers, except hers was tipped in black. "Glad I'm not the only one who can... appreciate..." She raised her metallic, clawed arm to guard herself from his next attack, whatever it was, the metal from the flanked attack had come off in small bits, worming it's way over the boys body in silence. The rest of the body of metal took it's humanoud shape, and continued to attack him while his eyes were on her, striking for his arms, legs, and head. The small bits were getting into position, as was her will. "Unfortunately I have a betrothed... and he wouldn't like it if he knew I was flirting with another male... but, really? What's wrong with playful banter during a fun-loving spar, hm?" They were all in position now... all she needed was to give the thougth command and it would be done.
