Yay I get the first thread~
Anyway, I guess here would be a good place to voice your opinion about the guild. General Stuff.
I think this guild is great so far! This is like the only guild I go to!

 The guild is going really well so far. 3nodding I wasn't expecting us to even get this many members at first! But now that we have so many members, I think it's not that good of an idea to have everyone as Vice Captains. It was good when we were small, but now we have like 8 pages of members!  We might make some crazy person a VC and then they might just go and delete all our threads.

I think we're all responsible enough to handle ourselves. It's not like there are any trolls here from the GD or anything trying to mess things up. The only problem I can foresee is people possibly abusing announcements for non-meetup or other non-guild related purposes.
But I hope we're all mature enough to not delete stuff and whatnot or abuse announcements. Locking isn't a problem since if we're all VC's we can still post. XD
If the guild really starts going downhill though, someone can always be rebuild or ladybug can boot people who create trouble.

I don't think the VC issue is a problem now, but I do believe not everyone should be one. xD At least we have control over who comes here - so no trolls or GDers can spam and destroy our guild, which has flourished so nicely. ^^

dakki-dono There's going to be mad drama in here. I give it a month at most. All guilds go through some growing pains. It's a natural part of the process of establishing itself and it's identity. Never seen a guild, especially a GCD one, that hasn't had some. Especially when pulling in so many different people at once. It'll blow over, it always does, and the guild will be stronger for it. If nothing else, it is bringing a pretty big snapshot of the GCD together -- from various points in the forum's timeline. Kudos to the owners for that.

dakki-dono There's going to be mad drama in here. I give it a month at most. Oh yee of little faith...or maybe you just have experience with this sort of stuff. XD I've never seen a guild with so many VCs. I wonder how it'll all work out in the long run.

There's a difference between growing pains and growing so fast that it can't hold up its own weight like a chemically altered pig writhing and squealing on a warehouse floor. I'm not saying it won't work, but I'm going to be realistic and say that this experiment, though very interesting, may be rather short lived.

Is kind of cool being VC but not special. Of course, I will not do anything like locking threads and such. I will let that to other responsible ones. But do wish there was like one VC and some crew.

Feel free to go make banners! heart I would love to see people make some banners! C:
And I do believe there will be some drama later like Dakki said. But as Klim said, every guild goes through some drama one day or another. c: We just wait for it to blow or over when it does come.

Exactly. This guild seems pretty cool. Optimism is key to getting anywhere in anything. Like my mother always said ^^ "If a slap don't work, you cut 'em or you pay 'em, but you keep your receipts, cos this ain't the Mafia."
... .-. I didn't have a great childhood in retrospect.

I'm intruiged so far. I like it, but I have a tendency to forget about guilds a week after I join them! Buuut... seeing as I spend most of my time in the GCD, that should be a pretty good reminder about the guild!
