A black sillhouette neared Andrew... "Have you come to challenge me?" The male voice sounded, echoing through the barren gym. The man stepped out of the shadows and showed his face. "My rock-hard willpower is evident in even my Pokémon.
My Pokémon are all rock hard and have true-grit determination.
That's right - my Pokémon are all the Rock type!" He shouted. "Lets battle!"

The Gym leader who had stepped from the Shadows was in fact Brock. His face was painted with a slight smirk, and he tossed a single pokeball in his hand. "Prepare yourself Trainer...for my first pokemon, I choose Geodude...go!" His voice commanded the floor as he tossed out the red and white capsule, a small rock-like pokemon with burly arms appearing after a show of lights. "Geodude!" It cried, flexing it's limbs, obviously trying to intimidate the Wartortle as it stared him down.

"Heh...cake...Geodude! charge forward and use defense curl to shake off that shot of water, then use Tackle!" Brock gave the young trainer a slightly cocky smirk before gesturing to the turtle with a single finger as if cursing it."Do not underestimate Rock-type pokemon just because you have the element advantage trainer...I'm not a gym leader for nothing!" He shouted. Executing the commands perfectly, the Geodude let out a war cry before rushing forward and rolling into position, using defense curl to deflect the water shot in all directions before springing up and barreling toward the Wartortle, arms spread in perfect set up to tackle him powerfully.
