I am brain storming for ideas, So I though I would ask, How do you get your ideas? Do you have a method? What are your muse?

I am a slave to the muses. When they hit me, they hit me. Music tends to help a lot, and almost shapes what I want to do. Alternative or rock? How about something grungy! Classical? Something sleek and sophisticated. Pop? Something fun and colorful. For me, it depends.

I'm the same as Paw Pad. xD
When an idea hits me, it hits me. I get a lot of inspiration from other designer's and their work. Music also has impact on me and influences my mood and kind of style I'd go for.
Another thing...I get like sudden...upbeatness to design everytime I download a whole bunch of brushes/textures/etc. It's like the same exciting feeling you get when you get something new and want to try it out. ~ whee

I`ll usually pop open my photoshop and play around with colors and brushes and see where that gets me. xD
Most times I get so into it that I forget to turn on music.
Unless I get an idea right off the bat, But thats hard when people give you artistic freedom (for me at least)
So basicly I just go with the flow xD

Ideas for me are usually sparked by a new brush or hearing or seeing something. d: Like I might see Spongebob and BAM! "OMG I'm sooo gonna make a Spongebob icon!" > w <
Just like that. And I always listen to music when I make stuff. It could be anything. Normally I'm listening to a playlist, compilation, or album. >_> Right now I'm just listening to random stuff on shuffle. …Maybe that's why I'm getting kaput for a design I'm trying to do.
