User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The Spirit Oasis is a verdant garden and pond located past a cave in the Northern Water Tribe's capital city at the North Pole. Although the land outside is perpetually frozen, the Spirit Oasis itself is warm. It is a place where the Spirit World overlaps with the mortal world.
The tribe believes that the energy of the Moon and Ocean spirits keeps the oasis constantly warm and flourishing. There is a small pond and a spirit gate located on the grassy island. During each full moon, the tribe makes an offering to the spirits as thanks for their protection by placing food and objects beneath the oasis gate. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. There is a pond in the middle of the Spirit Oasis, in which two koi fish (one black and one white) swim around each other in a circular pattern. These fish are Tui and La, the Moon and Ocean Spirits.

The instant Yang came into contact with the area he could feel the difference in temperature, he could lower his own internal temperature because the external had changed so drastically. It was almost as if a barrier of warmth had been erected around the area.

Yang stepped out from behind the women, his nervousness gone, almost as if in a trance, his red eyes focused. He saw the two fish swimming around each other and in that instance a single word escaped his lips as little more than a whisper, "Spirits..."

Lamilla was ahead of him, putting the light aside before stepping in front of him. "Do not stare." She states in a fast yet commanding tone. Lamilla sat beside the pond, crossing her legs as she closed her eyes. "See? Our favorite place, more Lamilla then us though." Samantha says, nudging his back lightly. Lemos laughed, running ahead as she did cartwheels. "Whoooo!!!" She shouts while doing so, now doing flips. "Along with Lemos...she usually gets very hyper as well."

"Lemos." Lamilla sudedenly spoke as before, opening one eye at her. "Tehe~! Fiiiine..." Lemos giggles, doing more cartwheels without yelling so loudly. It seemed Lamilla was interested in the oasis as Lemos simply enjoyed it.

(Lol sry your rping npcs, I could perhaps create them if you so wish)

((No it's alright, I figure it will either lead into the current water tribe story or away from it, either way it doesn't matter))

Yang was brought back to reality as he heard the woman normally so reserved speak in such a manner. His body jerked as the woman touched him and he quickly jumped and turned to face her as he heard her explanation. He watched at Lamilla's personality seemed to change drastically now that she was in this area. "What is this place?" he asked as he looked all around this paradise within the bitterly cold north pole.

(Tis' into, if you are curious)

"It's the Spirit Oasis...quite wonderful isn't it?" She says, walking to a tree behind the pond. Out of the branches was a note, she pulls it out reading it. Lemos behind her as she read it as well. "Great." Lemos growled, sulking her shoulders. "My words exactly..." Samantha whispers towards her, hiding the note. Lamilla breathed slowly, and it seemed she was in deep mediation.

"So, Yang, correct? When will you be leaving?" Lemos suddenly states, right behind him.

Yang wasn't sure at what point Lemos ended up behind him but in that instant his killer instinct took over even if only for a second his entire persona changed as he processed Lemos as a threat instead of a woman, then before it could be noticed by most he changed back to the normal shy Yang. "I-I don't know...I ended up here after stowing away on boats, I figured I do the same to get out when I got a chance..."

Lemos gives a look towards Samantha signaling something,"Very well...make sure to do it soon, k?" She nudges him gently, with a low smile. "Indeed, me and Lemos has to leave..you're welcome to stay with Lamilla, but make it short." Samantha adds, however her last few words were almost as if in warning. She gave a wave as she and Lemos left.....only to retreat to a hidden ladder that lead to the cliffs of the same oasis.

Lamilla opens her eyes, now watching the fish as she leaned slightly. "....sand...tower...books..." She mutters under her breath, her daze drifting with the water. She shook her head,"Not again..stop..." She whispered lower, hitting her head. Her eyes went behind her seeing only Yang was there, unsure whether or not she heard him, she smiled a small smile turning away almost right after. Why did they left without meh...

Yang was sensing that he was no longer welcome as the two left he turned to do the same as he reached the exit a faint whisper reached his ears. He turned to see Lamilla looking at him "W-what did you just say?" he asked timidly.

Lamilla blinks, looking back at the waters. "The ripples just showed me things...that's all...sorry.." She ducks her head, before when she had done this with someone else they hated it. Cursing her name along with even running away. Remembering that she dove her head deeper as if to hide her shame of her power. "Though...you're really lucky. Having the past that you do.." She adds without noticing, as if slightly jealous that he grew knowing so much.

Meanwhile....in the cliffs of oasis (I think that's how you refer to it? heh) in one of the many caves stood the sisters from before. "Thought you brats left already?! We gave you the chance, didn't we?" Lemos glares at a group of boys in the far corner of the cave. "And you thought if you got the princess back everything would be normal, right? Cute.." Samantha adds with a cruel smirk. The boys had lived in the cave for a brief time, their fire glowing dimly through the storm outside. They had each other for warmth and survival, yet it seemed they were discovered. "Why..? Why is everyone gone?" One whispers to the leader of the group "Shh...it's because of the Kai..something's wrong. We can only count on Vet now.." The leader whispered back, referring to the one of the boys who had left to try to contact the princess.

Yang ran to her almost sliding into a kneel so that he would be eye level to her. "You can see into my past!?" he asked her excitedly, "That's amazing!" He had never seen these things in person but he read about supernatural experiences and powers that couldn't be comprehended as easily as bending. "How do you do it!?" he asked grabbing onto her shoulders, his nervousness had flown out the window as he talked.

(Your character is so cute!! I swear, I wanna glomp him again already xD)

Lamilla's eyes widen as he did so, her breath quickening. Unable to throw her nervousness out as he. A blush formed as he got even closer, with a small sigh, she gently pushes him back slightly. "Please...don't....do that." She says, clearing her throat again. After about few moments she regained herself, turning to where she faced him. "Well...the water...shows me. My sisters said I'm not suppose to watch....or tell anyone.." Lamilla says slowly, it seemed Lemos and Samantha had forbidden her to do such things.

((Ah okay I was wondering. I try to make him that way btw, a part of his charm.))

Yang turned immediately as she said it. Sitting on his legs he peered into the water with the eyes of child in awe expecting something to come to him, his major hopes were that the water would take him back to a time before he could remember, maybe the faces of his parents even.

He never put together that it might be a water tribe thing he believed to just be a special property of the water. He stared intently into the water without the slightest ripple. He moved slightly closer to the water, seeing only his own reflection. "I don't think I can do it..." he said more disappointed than anything.

(Heh sry for not stating that before)

Lamilla giggled slightly, covering her mouth though to pervert her to do it too loudly. "Uhmm...well..I could show you?" She says, plucking one of his hairs. She bent over the water, lightly tapping it with the hair. "Try to think of a memory, think only of it..." Lamilla said, leaning back. If he were to think of a memory, it would show within the ripples made by the hair. "Quickly, though.." She adds almost in a whisper, partially using her power to help show the image to him.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 03, 2011 5:21 pm

"Ow!" Yang said as he grasped the spot from where a hair was plucked, but he also payed attention to what she said and looked back to the water.

Only one thing came to his mind. "Mother..." he whispered focusing in on the thought. It was difficult, he could not actually muster even so much as an image of her, after all he was little more than an infant when they disappeared.

Yet the ripples began to show something. Yang's red eyes focused in on the water as the image cleared up, a tea shop, everything was green and gold. It must've been in the Earth Kingdom. The woman walked out of the tea shop, holding something wrapped up in a blanket. A man walked to her, dressed similar to any other wandering person, yet something was odd, his eyes. They were blood red, yet kind. He put his arm around the woman who looked lovingly to him. They kissed, smiled at each other and looked down at the object wrapped in the blanket, but it was no object. A tiny hand reached from it and the Man put a single finger down. The baby grasped it and the man's smile widened. The baby laughed, his red eyes so innocent. They turned and began to walk towards a large wall, something was in the man's hand, he looked down at it and the woman did as well. A tile, a white lotus tile.

The image began to fade and Yang's eyes desperately searched for more, "That can't be it...there must be more!" he almost pleaded with the ripples as they disappeared and the water became calm.

"It couldn't be...t-they loved me..." tears began to well up in his eyes as his vision became cloudy, "The people in that memory, they wouldn't have abandoned me in the desert, I could feel it..." he looked to Lamilla, "They were happy that I was there...my parents...they loved me."

Lamilla only watched both him and the water...slowly but surely, she could see that she was going to regret what she was showing him. Her hand reached over, gently putting the hair in front of him. "I'm sorry....I-" She paused, suddenly coughing very roughly.

She panted, trying to regain her breath. Showing that their was a small price for her power. Once she stopped, she sighed deeply, rolling over to where she now laid down. "-I didn't know...I only see some pieces, and I showed you what I thought was a good memory of her...Your past..so many people had cared for you..th-they weren't the only ones that loved you." Lamilla slowly says, looking towards him; trying to cheer him up somehow. Yet, how could she? She grunts, attempting to stand back up now.
