"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil"

The Hufflepuff Basement is located behind a still-life portrait of a fruitbowl near the kitchens of Hogwarts Castle. A passage-way is behind the painting, leading to the common room, which is a room where Hufflepuff students can relax after a long day of studying. The common room is full of fat armchairs, yellow hangings, and probably a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. There is a huge stone fire place in the room, decorated with carvings of the mightyHufflepuff badger. The Hufflepuffs' dormitories are also located in the cellar, with perfectly circular doors leading off from the common room that open to tiny underground tunnels. The one to the right leads to the girls' dormitory, the left to the boys. In each dormitory there are beds, presumably decorated with yellow hangings and the Hufflepuff badger and one smaller fire place in the back of the long room.
