Ba Sing Se University is a major school of thought, serving scholars throughout the Earth Kingdom. The greatest university in the world, at least according to its enrollment materials, the BSSU campus is a major landmark in the Middle Ring of Ba Sing Se

It is regarded as a major achievement of engineering, architecture, and science, especially for its famed Kim Astrology Tower and the two-acre Mung-Yi Research Koi Pond. The head zoologists at the University were charged with going out and fetching rare creatures for the Earth King's private menagerie, including a mate for Bosco, although one was never found. Professor Zei once held the position of head of the Anthropology Department, as mentioned during The Library, but is presumed to have been replaced.

Ba Sing Se University has classes in Music, Zoology, Architecture, Anthropology (including a class on Desert Cultures once taught by Professor Zei, Head of the Anthropology Department), Art, Geography, History, Astrology, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Drama, most likely Earthbending, and others that may not be mentioned.

Rose had her hand raised. When he pointed to the boy she sighed. She saw the boy who had replied. the professor. "He is cute." she thought to herself.

Luo Agagisan noticed a girl looking at him and blushed. Does she realize I'm Fire Nation? Did she see through my disguise? It's true, I don't look anything like an Earthbender... I'll just play it cool for now. Act like Tang Lao Huo..., he thought. He waved and smiled at Rose.
The professor shook his head. "Partial credit. He sent out his armies and launched a surprise attack on each of the temples while using the power of Sozin's Comet. Now I want each of you to write a few paragraphs about the effects of Sozin's War in either of the four nations."

Ria out of her class, and saw Rose put a note on Luo's desk. she smirked. she ran out of the university.

Luo Agagisan sighed and took out his brush. He pondered for a few moments, moaning to himself, then dipped his brush in ink and began writing. "Psst," he whispered to Juniperus. "You can copy me if you want." He began writing.

"The effects of Sozin's War in the Fire Nation were tremendous and could be felt for generations even after Fire Lord Zuko ended the war. There were good effects and bad effects.
The good effects were that the war had toughened the Fire Nation's military and defenses. It also boosted the blacksmith industry in the Fire Nation, as the military asked for more metal weapons and vehicles, such as tundra tanks and ships. The Great Gates of Azulon were a result of the War, as well as the boost in the coal industry as the Fire Nation conquered resource-rich areas.
The bad effects were that the War bankrupted the Fire Nation government and caused many deaths and lives to be lost. The image of the Fire Nation was damaged in the process. The Fire Nation people were oppressed during the War and the dragons became extinct because of Sozin's actions."

Luo sighed. "Great, this should do it." He didn't even notice the note until now. He read it and realized it was from Rose. He wrote back. Sorry, I don't need a boarding place at the moment. However, he didn't get a chance to write back. "How should I respond? I don't have much experience," he whispered to Juniperus.
