I look to my Lycan, whimpering and pleading at me with his eyes for my forgiveness. Sighing, I flop onto my queen sized bed and place my arm over my eyes to shield them from the moonlight that streams through the window. "My apologies Anteros..." I whisper softly before turning onto my side and squeeze my eyes closed.

 He morphed into a jet black cat and rubbed against her hand lightly. "Whats the matter mistress?" He asked on a feline like voice. She hadnt been her usual self and it was bothering him like a flea. "You can tell me master..." He pawed at her nose gently in a cute playful way. His cat form usually did the trick. So he kept at it.

I pull Anteros onto my chest and stroke him before scratching behind his ears. "It's nothing really." I assure him, closing my eyes as my hand goes still. "I'm 360 years old and I have yet to have a partner. Such facts are deeply embarrassing..."

"Well mstress you can take my offer." He said rubbing against her hand. "I asked you out just last week..." He mumbled and let out a soft gentle purr, trying to make feel better. "I wanna be with you Mistress." He curled into a ball on her chest and layed there for the moment.

"Anteros..." I whisper, truly touched by his words. Sitting up I clutch the cat to my chest and sigh, bringing my legs up and crossing them, "You're a Lycan, my greatest enemy. I don't think it would be a very good idea for us to carry on an intimate relationship." I let him down on my bed and stand, keeping my back turned toward him as I gaze out the window. "I'm going downtown, I need to feed. Care to accompany me?"

Unable to comprehend what was going through her had he simply excepted her offer. Me morphed back into his human form, leaving his horns on his head as usual and stood up. "Yea, someone needs to make sure you are safe..." He mumbled as he placed his hands on her shoulder. "Just to let you know. You dont treat me as an enemy. I dont understand why you refer to me as one." He let go of her and walked to the door, opening it for her. He let out a soft sigh. "After you Mistress..." He said, gesturing with his hand. Pointing the way.

I sigh and turn towards him, striding until I'm in from of my Lycan. Turning slowly, I look up to meet his gaze and wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him down to my level. "Anteros..." I whisper again, my lips brushing softly against his throat, "You cannot honestly tell me that your skin doesn't prickle when I touch you, or my smell doesn't disgust you. Your warmth makes me want to flinch away, and deep down your presence makes me uneasy. We are natural born enemies, whether you'd like to believe that or not it is definitely true."
What surprises me though is that I honestly don't want to release him from my grasp. I force myself to do so and turn down the hall, not speaking a word until we are outside.
