AHHH! I can't stand these people who think that Obama wasn't born in the US. Don't you think they check on that before they are allowed to run for president? I had to have a background check, be fingerprinted, and provide several forms of I.D. to be a damn security guard. Do they really think just anyone can say "Oh I think I wanna be the president" and they are like "OK! Go ahead. You don't need to prove that you're qualified or anything." They can't even agree on where he was supposedly born. I've seen/heard like 4 different "real names" and places where he was born. Don't you think that is he was going to pick a fake name that he would pick a more common name? Barack Hussein Obama isn't exactly John Smith.
Also, it really pisses me off when people seem to look down on me for believing something that the government said. It's like they think that it HAS to be a lie just because it came out of a government official's mouth. I don't believe everything they say but, come on! I do have my own brain. I don't have to assume that the government it lying to be "informed". That is what they call it "informed". And I'm "brainwashed". rolleyes I understand that sometimes the government is a little shady. But I have to question some of these people's sanity. They are SO paranoid about EVERYTHING. Water, genetically engineered food, subliminal messages in T.V. and radio signals, phone and computer tapping, CAMERAS in the smoke detectors. I've heard all of this crap coming out of people's mouths. WTF?!

I'd sooner believe something that the government said than something that came out of a disillusioned government conspiracy theorist's blog.
No one should complain. There's universal, adult suffrage in America. If you voted for Obama, or if you decided not to vote on election day, it's your own damn problem he's president, I say.

Damn straight! It's sad that people believe whatever they read on the internet. Don't they know that crazy people can make web pages?
Now that I think about it it is odd that they look down on me for believing things when the government says them. They believe whatever they read on the internet and whatever conspiracy theory video they see. Most of those damn videos are so ridiculous! I watched one at my friend's house and I thought that my palm would never leave my face. I think it was about something about the government doing illegal things. And there was something about forced vaccinations in there.
The most recent one that I've seen claimed that laws do not apply to us because we are natural beings. It also said that things like permits and licenses are not technically required. It also said that our birth certificates really mean that we are owned by (I don't know) the government. And we are being bartered with other countries because we are bankrupt. (Here's the kicker) All of these things (birth certificate, driver's license, social security card) are proof that the government view us as corporations and not people. The extra proof is that our names are written in CAPITAL LETTERS, so that they can legally call us a corporation.... stressed It made me rage SO very much!

Another thing. You're right. Most of these damn people don't vote. They have no right to complain if they didn't do something about whatever the hell they are complaining about when they had the chance. If you don't like some politician's policies then don't vote for them. If you don't like a bill, vote no on it instead of making a misinformed video about the government.
I know someone who refused to fill out the census because it was "just another way for 'them' to keep tabs on everyone." They already know where you live! (Okay that wouldn't help a paranoid person feel better at all.) The thing is that it is people like that who complain about schools not getting enough money and state run programs not getting enough money. THAT is what the god damn census is for! It is so that they know who is where and what age they are so that they can give your area enough money! scream stressed

First off, in order to be the president, you have to be born a U.S. citizen. Obama was born in the United States. And the people who are saying otherwise are just racist. Or hate him for some other dumb reason. He isn't the greatest but it could be a lot worse.
And my aunt is one of those people who believes the government can hack into your phones. Computers yes, phones no. But anyone can hack a computer. And also, I have learned to take everything anyone says by a grain of salt. Anyone will feel you bullshit. It's just a matter of sorting out the real from the bullshit. And the government doesn't lie about EVERYTHING. They can't. They have to tell us some truth.
And yeah, if you don't vote don't complain.

I think the retarded s**t they use as "proof" is the worst part of it. Like Obama ignoring ridiculous internet rumors and not putting his birth certificate on the internet. How the ******** it that proof of anything?
There is no guarantee that he was even aware of them. (Even if he was, they are completely retarded! I don't think that ignoring them like a sane person should be proof of anything.)Are you aware of every internet rumor? For all I know there is one about me being an alien from Venus come to kill us all.

Vengeful Elegance Genetically engineered food, subliminal messages in T.V....and computer tapping redface These are concerns that I hold. Albeit it, the first I worry about the impact it has on the 'developing' world, the second is more of a worry about the impact of media on society and the third is about monitoring of online information. In saying that, I do not associate these with the government per se. They also do not make me radically alter my lifestyle either, I am kinda lazy. lol

If I am not mistaking, there is only so much the government can get out of you because we have the right to privacy. But, nowadays who knows. Anything can happen
