((Just a note, the ball is happening about a week after the exam. The students would have found out if they had passed a few days prior, and would have received their new lodgings and uniforms the morning of the dance.))
The ballroom was decorated beautifully, with Balamb and SeeDs banners and colors displayed proudly. There were twinkling lights everywhere, and through the skylight the moon and stars could be clearly seen.
The food was abundant, the champagne was flowing freely, and even the minors seemed to be drinking the delicious, bubbly beverage. There were many people in the ballroom; students, teachers and faculty, and even guests from many other places who had come to celebrate the new SeeD members. Most of the current SeeDs were dressed in their formal uniform, looking sharp and proud among the finely dressed crowd. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and the party was more than inviting.

Aki walks into the ballroom, dressed in her formal SeeD uniform. She received a few stares from students, who had very rarely, if at all, seen the Headmistress in her SeeD attire. It was certainly different from her usually casual appearance.
Her hair was pinned up on her head, held in place with a beautifully carved hairpin made of redwood, adding a dash of beauty and delicacy to her otherwise formal and sharp appearance.
She grabs a glass of champagne off a passing tray and makes her way further into the room, watching the dancers happily. She stops at the food tables and grabs a chocolate éclair off a tray, then turns and continues to watch the dancers while she munches on her dessert.

Shiro stood in amidst the crowd, looking a tad lost and very uncomfortable. He was dressed in his brand new SeeD uniform, and while he was indeed very proud to wear it and have earned it, this sort of formal scene just wasn't him. He held a champagne glass in hand, half empty, and looked around trying not to feel out of place. He still couldn't really believe he was here, he couldn't believe he was a SeeD.

This was Alexei's day, the day he'd been waiting for since he first heard of Garden and the elite mercenary warriors known as SeeD's. He straightened his shirt and the chain that ran across the broad, embroidered epaulettes, trying not to fuss over them as he made his way to the ballroom.
He stopped and stood at the mouth of the corridor that led to the ballroom with his hands clasped behind his back. He smiled and nodded to other SeeD's, new and current, as they passed by towards the ball. Alexei was waiting for his date to arrive so they could enter together. His tall stature allowed him to peer over most heads to try and catch a glance of the green hair that he was waiting to see.

Hunter walk into the ballroom and was looking around in amazement, He was wearing his brand new SeeD uniform he had receive and could not believe he was a SeeD now after all the hard work he had to put in day in and day out just get to this point in his life, he stood with his hands lock together by his thumbs as he looks around all the current and new SeeDs

Yuna walked to the ballroom in her new SeeD uniform. She was so proud to wear it. She didn't think she was going to pass and was stunned when she found out that she did. Yuna waved to Alexei as she walked by him at the entrance to the ballroom. Yuna looked around the beautifully decorated room for someone she knew, with her hands clasped together behind her. When she saw Hunter she walked over to him. “ Hi, Hunter. I can’t believe I’m here. I never thought I would pass and become a SeeD. I’m so excited. “ Yuna said with a smile.

Finally, the SeeD ball!
Alexei had refused to tell her the results of the exam, even though she knew that he'd gotten word of whether he had passed or not. No matter how much she begged him he wouldn't tell her. There was no doubt in her that he had, but she was nervous none the less.
Adara was dressed in her formal uniform, one of the few occassions when she actually did. It felt kind of nice to be fancied up in her dress shirt and medium length skirt, since she hadn't worn the outfit for a while. It was nice to feel the sense of accomplishment when dressed as a SeeD and to know that she had earned her way to this point.
There she was though, standing in the elevator to the ballroom, nervous and smiling to herself though her heart was racing. This was it! She stepped out of the small chamber and saw Alexei looking over most of the students. A smile formed and she moved around the crowds to get a better look at him. She saw just the smallest glint of the tell-tale chain of the uniform and couldn't help herself.
Adara went running towards him and as soon as she was close enough, the girl threw her arms around his neck, lifting her feet off the ground, "I knew you would pass! I'm so proud of you!"

From her vantage point near the dance floor, Aki could see a few of the new SeeDs arriving, all looking sharp and excited in their new uniforms. Aki smooths out her perfectly pressed clothes, and straightens the various badges, medals, and pins showing her high rank and office. She was rarely so put together; in fact half the time she didn't even brush her hair before leaving her room. She usually just combed her fingers through it on her way out the door, so being so perfectly put together was a very big change. Of course, she tended to hold herself differently when dressed in her formal attire.. she supposed the clothes made her remember her accomplishments.
Aki grins, then takes a sip of her champagne, glad to see her newly appointed SeeDs seemed to be feeling just as proud in their uniforms as she felt of herself in hers.

Alexei gave Yuna a two-fingered salute as she passed by, a wide grin slowly creeping onto his face as he failed to hide his obvious excitement. His grin only grew when Adara came into view, her green hair bobbing amongst the sea of faces. He hadn't told her whether or not he'd passed the SeeD exam, because he was waiting for this exact moment.
Alexei's face nearly split in two as she came dashing towards him, and his arms enveloped her as she practically jumped into them. He knew it would be worth the wait to leave it as a surprise, and Adara's reaction to seeing him in his brand new uniform confirmed that tenfold. He let out a pleased noise and let her back down to her feet, looking down at her with the intimate smile that he saved just for her.
"Now, is not this better than just telling you?" he said confidentially, taking her hands in his and looking down into her eyes with one blue orb and one green.

Outside the ballroom stood Suijin. She wore her new SeeD uniform and brushed her hands over it to make sure everything was in order. Her hair wasn't in its usual windswept manner but rather neat with no stray hairs. She kept some curls under a gold clip. There were some things on her mind but she had to push them back as this was a time for celebration.
After making sure everything was tidy, she walked into the ballroom, waving at people she knew. She took a glass of champagne from a tray going by and looked around for a certain white-haired boy. Once she spotted Shiro in the crowd, she downed her glass like it was nothing and made her way over to him. "Hey." she greeted him with a kiss on the cheek and a smile.

She didn't want to let go of him. Just wanted to hug him for forever. Even the voice in her brain couldn't come up coherant words to express how happy she was at that moment. So, when he took her hands, all dressed up in his brand new uniform, and looked down at her with that wonderful, beautiful smile that she loved, Adara melted a little on the inside. She nodded enthusiastically and, unable to help herself, wrapped her arms around his body.
"Yes. Yes it is. Though I might never let go of you. Ever," the girl laughed as she pressed herself to him and squeezed him tightly.
After a few moments, she did pull back to look him over head to toe, grinning all the while, "Turn around! Let me look!"

Alexei complied happily, spreading his arms and turning in a circle so she could take a gander at his brand new uniform.
"You like?" he asked, turning back to Adara and striking a pose with one hand in his pocket and a coy grin, then holding out his other hand for her to take.
"Come on, we SeeD's have ball to attend." He clearly emphasized 'we SeeD's' with pride. He had accomplished his goal, done his family proud, and proven himself. With Adara at his side, Alexei could not be happier.

"I like very much," she grinned and as she took his hand, she lifted herself up to kiss his cheek fondly. "I'm so proud of you."
Adara felt another twinge of pride when he emphasized the fact that they were both SeeDs now, and it was a wonderful feeling to be standing there next to him, hand in hand, decked out in their uniforms. Maybe they would get to do missions together now....
"I warn you, I haven't gotten any better at dancing," the girl beamed up at him, blue eyes bright with joy behind her glasses.

Brecklin Joseph Delandou -
"Hot damn this place looks good." His sounded as he neared the doors, already seeing a glimpse of the inside, "Galbadian ceremonies never really get like this." Brecklin spoke aloud to no one in particular. He wasn't nearly as well-dressed as anyone else here. He wore a pitch black dress shirt over a white wife-beater with his dogtags hanging round his neck. His usually cut up jeans were replaced with ironed stonewashed ones with silver lining the hem, and a platinum watch sat on his left wrist.
His hair was the same as usual: naturally spiked only an inch or two from his scalp. Letting out a light whistle, Brecklin looked to his right to see two familiar faces already, standing by the entrance, acting all lovey-dovey.
"Hey you two, you're damaging my virgin eyes acting like that." He said as he walked over to Adara and Alexei, a broad smile on his face, "Congratulations, buddy! " The ex-soldier offered his hand to the auburn haired SeeD.
Four days after his first trip here, Brecklin had finally spoken to Aki, and though he'd have to attend some classes to get familiar with the way things were done here, he was basically a paid member of Garden now, though he turned down the offer for a dormitory and more of a small rental car just so he could commute back and forth.
But things were good, he was happy as long as his family was getting money, "Nice suit." He added with an affirmative nod, it clearly looked more formal than his loose dress shirt, "And you, Adara; amazingly dressed as always." He said with the same smile but making an hourglass figure with his hands jokingly.

Hunter turn to see Yuna had walk up and she was wearing her new SeeD uniform as well "I'm glad Yuna, and I'm happy you made it was well, and I'm going to say this thanks for saving me back during the mission, I owe you and Suijin one" Hunter turn when Alexei had told they had a ball to attend to Hunter could help himself but to agree "Yeah we all deserve this for all the hard work we had to do to get to this point"
